Sky Sports report it to be around deal worth around £2.2m, the 21-year-old signing a four-year deal at Scottish Premiership giants, and a club-held option to extend that by a further 12 months.
He is Rangers’ seventh summer signing as head coach Russell Martin looks to boost his attacking options as they get set for their Champions League qualifier against Panathinaikos.

That sale price is bloody ridiculous.

He ended the campaign with nine goal contributions in all competitions, including a memorable winner away to Norwich City in March after the Owls found themselves two goals down.

@dexteritybox: 15-20m player in the next couple of years leaving to pay the wages. Woeful.
@carterswfcok: Can someone tell me in what world we let this guy go for pennies alongside musaba aswell when we literally can’t spend money (properly for 3 windows) proper joke this👍🏼
@thelionbrand: Such a shame what’s happening to your club. Hope this fee gets used wisely and a change of ownership is not too far away. Excited to see this young man step up and play on the European stage. Hope he’s as talented as made out to be
@johnada75157425: Chansiri out!!! Selling best players to pay wages joke!!
@IanSWFC80: Best young player we have had in years and genuinely would have made us millions in the future. Yet we flog him on the cheap because the owner cant pay anyones wages. Should be ashamed!
@Bairdric1: Hope you get rid of your owners, we’ve had our fair share of wrong uns in charge. I’m guessing we have a bargain on our hands?
@_CT1872: Cheers lads 😂 £2.2m sounds like an absolute steal for this boy
@Geo___72: Thank you troops. Your anger reassures me that we’ve got a gem on our hands
@adam7485: Absolutely gutted. One of the best players to watch in the last twenty years. DC hurry up and go
@MrPaulPashley: Selling the top asset for your constant mistakes. Sell the club!! You’re a joke.
@dannyswfc: I’m ok with selling players. It’s something we’ve been crying out for for several years, but to sell someone which such potential for less than £3m in today’s market is an absolute disgrace. #ChansiriOut
@Azuliblancos: Sold to pay the debts of Mr Dejphon Chansiri.
@SteveJ2403: Very sad to see him go. But it looks like the deal that has facilitated outstanding wages being paid. @RangersFC have a talent on their hands and a bargain. I hope there’s a sell-on clause.
@GeoffSWFC: Very brave leaving the comments turned on
@nathswfc1215: It’s boring now, get ya hopes up and they get crushed. Nowhere near a takeover and we’ve sold one of our best players for virtually nothing. The future is bleak and who realistically would want to buy this club with the state it’s in because I wouldn’t. I could cry #swfc
@Jasper_s91: Can’t wait for him to be worth £20m
@Jack_Turner7: 2.2m what a joke
@Justom29: We got £1.1 million for a £10 million player 🤮 #swfc
@MaxDelSeed: Absolute mismanagement that we have been forced to sell off our best talent to pay the fucking bills. Sell up and fuck off Chansiri #swfc
@steelermark: 2.2 million is a disgrace. Hey @swfc this is a shameful price. Just bend over further every club shall we. Fucking joke.
@RFCNUFC23: £2.2m is an absolute steal
He should be going for 5xs that #swfc https://t.co/kQGRzmiDxt pic.twitter.com/gQ3gLSLjSU
