Tom Brady, Rob McElhenney and Snoop Dogg feature in a video talking about the EFL ahead of the 2025/26 Championship season opener.
The famous trio all discussed their club ownership in an Instagram reel. Snoop, who joined Swansea City’s ownership on July 18th, aims to bring cultural flair and playfully challenged Tom Brady, who has been a minority owner of Birmingham City since August 2023.
Brady highlighted the competitive nature of the EFL, while Snoop invited Tom and Rob McElhenney, who co-owns Wrexham with Ryan Reynolds to Swansea, hinting at future friendly rivalries.

Rob McElhenney starts of the video by saying: Snoop, what’s up buddy?
Snoop Dogg: Hey fellas, what’s cracking? Bought me a football club.
Tom Brady: I f***ing love football.
Snoop Dogg: Not an American football club. The one where they actually use their feet. Swansea, baby.
Tom Brady: Welcome to the beautiful world of English football where grown men cry over ties.
Rob McElhenney: Oh yeah, man. It’s a whole new world. Now imagine if Chess and Downton Abbey had a baby and then that baby got into a bar fight with a marching band.
Snoop Dogg: I’m here for the culture, the passion, the chaos. And they get Brady back for all those damn Super Bowls he hit my team with.
Tom Brady: I’ve won a lot of Super Bowls, alright? Quick crash course, win enough games, you move up to the next league, lose too many, you drop. It’s ruthless.
Snoop Dogg: I like it when the stakes are high.
Tom Brady: Don’t sleep on the away days. That’s where legends are made.
Snoop Dogg: Let me know when y’all wanna roll through Swansea. I had the kids pressed up and the playlists loaded. Locked and loaded.
Rob McElhenney: Wait, does Swansea have a pub in the stadium?
Snoop Dogg: They do now.
Rob McElhenney: Welcome to the club, Snoop!
Snoop Dogg: Let’s run it up.

@thetimmorgan: I love the Swans and Snoop but Im gutted we’re now part of the circus. Maybe this is the direction of travel for the Championship. What next? Preston owned by Joe Exotic and Coventry owned by Homer Simpson? Im sure Jake Paul is watching.
@danielbrundl3: What awful awful viewing
@thecuttybang: Tom Brady is a total fucking bell end, Rob McElhenney is starting to wear a bit thin now and no idea what Snoop Dogg is doing jumping on the bandwagon. Hope all of ‘their’ teams get totally pummelled this season.
@matthewconnell: I’m starting to think this is all a secret cult to double down on pulling in-season English football matches states side.
@LennWba: Tom Brady is the cringiest bloke on earth. That was top 5 hardest watches ever. I’m so thankful our owners don’t do stupid stuff like this #wba

@jjwilkinson88: Just been sick in my mouth
@rigg0o: Fantastic piss boiler, everyone completely rattled to fuck on replies and quotes 😂
@wxm_afc: I don’t like this l, it’s funny doing our own stuff, but with other clubs I just find it boring.
@tomvinall00: Fair play to anyone who continued watching after 5 seconds
@pattoJPN1: Can’t be many worse things about modern football than this. Horrible. Please Stop selling clubs to American celebrities I beg you.
@FFFknight: Been saying for a while, I don’t like whenever the ownership do collaboration with certain club’s owners is basically doing big favor to promote their club and it’s often plain “humor” @RMcElhenney Pls stop… especially with Brum
