While all of England’s elite might find themselves in the middle of yet another international break, we still have plenty of English action on the cards this weekend.
With both League One and League Two stealing plenty of Saturday’s attention, we have a stacked schedule from up and down the country.
For those of you looking to stick on a Saturday double, we have taken a look at some of the most attractive League One betting tips which are available this weekend.
15:00 Port Vale vs Wycombe Wanderers
While Port Vale might have only made their League One return this season, Darren Moore’s men have a major battle on their hands in the race to extend on their third-tier status this time around. Last seen in EFL Trophy action earlier in the week suffering penalty shootout heartbreak at home against Fleetwood, the former Sheffield Wednesday boss finds his downbeat squad pencilled in as a landslide relegation contender. Getting Saturday’s showdown underway sat with just their goal difference keeping them off the foot of the League One table, the Valiants look set for what will be another stern examination here. Putting in another worrying performance last weekend as they fell to a 4-0 drumming away at Bolton, Port Vale have lost four of their previous five appearances across all competitions. Signing off October with a 3-0 defeat at home against Stockport, Saturday’s hosts have also lost all of their previous three consecutive League One showdowns by an aggregate score of 8-0. It should also be highlighted, Moore’s side have shipped seven goals in their back-to-back defeats over the past week.
Although Wycombe might still be scrapping it out in the bottom-half of the League One standings, the Chairboys are enjoying what has become a recent purple patch. Last seen earlier in the week storming their way to a stellar 3-0 victory away at Gillingham, Michael Duff’s men will be dreaming of a repeat display here. Making a major statement last weekend as they clinched a 4-1 romp at home against Leyton Orient, the former Cheltenham boss has seen his high-flying squad win all of their previous three consecutive appearances across all competitions by an aggregate score of 9-1. Extending on their FA Cup adventure earlier in the month as they opened November with a 2-0 win against Plymouth, Wycombe find the mood in their camp at a red-hot high. In fact, despite their EFL Cup exit at the hands of Premier League outfit Fulham last month, Saturday’s guests have won all of their other four matchups across all fronts. It should also be noted, Wycombe have not suffered a single defeat from any of their previous nine outings within 90 minutes.

15:00 Notts County vs Harrogate Town
While November might have opened November by watching both their FA Cup and EFL Trophy adventures come to an abrupt end, Notts County have gained a string of plaudits since opening up the 2025/26 campaign. Last seen earlier in the week securing a 2-1 victory away at Cheltenham, Martin Paterson’s men are scrapping it out at the top of the League Two standings and they are widely regarded as a standout promotion contender this season. Signing off October with a routine 2-0 win at home against Cambridge, the Magpies open Saturday’s fixtures knowing that they could skyrocket their way to the top of the table. Including a 1-0 victory away at play-off dreamers Barnet last month, Notts County have registered 13 points from their previous five League Two appearances. Smelling the chance to extend on their recent fourth-tier charge, Paterson’s side have also impressed with their clinical performances in the final third. Recording 27 League Two strikes this season, only two clubs in the division have recorded more goals.
Although Harrogate might have clung to their League Two status last season, the Sulphurites appear destined for another relegation scrap this time around. Getting Saturday’s showdown underway holding just a one-point buffer from slopping into the drop zone, Simon Weaver’s side find themselves at the heart of what has become an extended rut. Despite landing a much-welcomed 3-1 EFL Trophy victory against Newcastle’s U21s earlier in the week, Harrogate have lost each of their other six appearances across all competitions and they look set for what should be another tricky test here. Watching their FA Cup adventure come to an end on November 1st as they slumped to a 3-2 defeat against Mansfield, Saturday’s guests have shown some worrying defensive issues. Signing off October with a 3-0 drumming at home against Newport, Weaver’s side have not recorded a single League Two clean sheet since the end of September. It should also be noted, Harrogate have lost their last three straight matchups away from Wetherby Road by an aggregate score of 9-5.
