Although Harrogate might have clung to their League Two status last season, the Sulphurites appear destined for another relegation scrap this time around. Getting Saturday’s showdown underway holding just a one-point buffer from slopping into the drop zone, Simon Weaver’s side find themselves at the heart of what has become an extended rut. Despite landing a much-welcomed 3-1 EFL Trophy victory against Newcastle’s U21s earlier in the week, Harrogate have lost each of their other six appearances across all competitions and they look set for what should be another tricky test here.
