Full teams for World Cup qualifier

Germany need a point at home to Slovakia to stop the visitors from leapfrogging them and claiming the direct qualification spot for the 2026 World Cup in the final match of both teams’ Group A campaign.

Die Mannschaft overcame a nervy first half to win 2-0 in Luxembourg on Friday courtesy of two goals by Newcastle striker Nick Woltemade.

On the same night, Slovakia had two goals disallowed before debutant substitute Tomas Bobcek scored their 91st-minute winner at home to Northern Ireland.
