Ripon Mondol
Representing Bangladesh A, Ripon Mondol secured his position as the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with 11 wickets in five matches. Besides being highly effective in his wicket-taking skills, he also maintained a very good economy rate of just 6.75, making it extremely difficult for the batters to score runs off him.
He made a significant impact in the semi-final match against India A with his bowling. At the end of the match, India was 20 runs away from winning with only two overs left, but Ripon’s second-last over which was for five runs changed everything. Thus, a tie was announced, and later, Bangladesh won in the super over after taking two wickets off the first two balls bowled to India A. Gurjapneet Singh

Rakibul Hasan
