Individual Batting Milestones and Record Scores

Mohammad Ihsan (Spain) holds the highest individual score in T20Is since 2020, racking up 160 off 63 balls against Croatia in 2025.

Sacha De Alwis (Cayman Islands) is the only other batter to breach the 150-run mark since the turn of the decade, scoring an unbeaten 150 against Brazil in 2024.

Phil Salt has scored all of his centuries while opening for England, the most by any opener in T20Is since 2020.

All of Salt’s hundreds have resulted in wins, marking the most by a batter in this decade.

Sanju Samson (India) scored three tons in 2024, the most by any batter in a calendar year in T20I history.


Age and Career Longevity Records

Gustav Mckeon (France) is the only batter to score two T20I centuries before turning 18.

Mckeon also remains the youngest batter to score a ton, smashing 109 against Switzerland at the age of 18 years and 280 days in 2022.

Avinash Pai (Gibraltar) is the oldest batter to smash a century (107*) at the age of 39 years and 272 days against Bulgaria in 2021.

Faheem Nazir (Switzerland) scored his two T20I hundreds after turning 39, the only batter to achieve multiple centuries at that age.

Babar Azam (Pakistan), Faheem Nazir (Switzerland), and Kendel Kadowaki-Fleming (Japan) have scored two or more T20I centuries as captains since 2020.
