Good morning, readers. I know you’ve noticed something about our Top 10 the last three weeks or so: there have been 11 actual teams in our list.
Why? Well, if you’ve noticed, we’ve had Louisville Sacred Heart (Ky.) and Glenbrook (Ill.) North tied at fourth because the two tied on the field when they played in the Lake Forest Invitational. They have been perfect ever since, but that could change as the teams embark on the postseason over the course of the next couple of weeks.
This week’s RightToRightIsRight.com honorary No. 11 Team of the Week is Hood College. Last Saturday, they beat Widener University for the first time in program history by a 4-3 count. The win staked the Blazers to a 3-0 conference record for the first time in the 30-year history of the Hood College field hockey program. Full marks to head coach Carley Kessler and her staff for this success.
