Trump Fuming Over New Epstein Email Cache, Wants Investigation of Democrats – MishTalk

My shocking conclusion: This is amazing, but TWS is curable after all.

Trump in 1670 Epstein Threads

Clinton was in 512 out of 2,324 threads, almost all of them pre-2016. Whereas Trump concentration was after 2016.

Epstein Email Cache

Please consider The Epstein Email Cache: 2,300 Messages, Many of Which Mention Trump That is a free WSJ link.

Congress released a cache of documents this week that were recently turned over by Jeffrey Epstein’s estate. Among them: more than 2,300 email threads that the convicted sex offender either sent or received between 2008 and 2019.

The House Oversight Committee had subpoenaed the estate for all of Epstein’s communications with 92 people who were named in Virginia Giuffre’s 2015 defamation lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell, including Epstein associates and assistants, as well as “all U.S. presidents and vice presidents.”

Not surprisingly, President Trump and former President Bill Clinton are both referenced hundreds of times in what was released this week, according to a Wall Street Journal analysis. Former President Barack Obama’s name appears as well. The Journal’s analysis didn’t identify messages that any of the U.S. presidents wrote directly to Epstein or received emails from him, just references to them by Epstein or his conversation partners.

The Journal examined all the documents released this week by Congress, which is a subset of Epstein’s correspondence.

Bill Clinton socialized with Epstein in the 1990s and traveled on Epstein’s jet. A spokesman for the former president said: “These emails prove what we’ve been saying all along—and then some: President Clinton had no knowledge of Epstein’s heinous crimes, had not spoken to him in twenty years, had never visited the island, and there was simply no love lost.”

Many of the messages are with other well-known Epstein associates, such as former Harvard President Larry Summers. Summers emailed regularly with Epstein, including banter about women and an exchange in 2019 shortly before Epstein was arrested. Summers told the Journal in 2023 that he deeply regrets being in contact with Epstein after his conviction. He didn’t respond to requests for comment on the emails.

None of the emails prove anything about anyone. But we have not yet seen the full files. These are sanitized ones.

Importantly, the reaction of Trump indicates a smoking gun. If there was nothing in these files he would not be reacting as he is.

Trump Calls for Investigation Into Democrats Named in Epstein Emails

Please note Trump Calls for Investigation Into Democrats Named in Epstein Emails That’s also a free link so you can look for yourself at the totality of the post.

President Trump said he would ask the Justice Department and the FBI to launch an investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s relationship with former President Bill Clinton and other Democrats.

In a social-media post Friday morning, Trump accused Democrats of focusing on his ties to the disgraced financier to distract from their own political vulnerabilities. In addition to Clinton, he said he would ask the Justice Department and Federal Bureau of Investigation to probe the deceased sex offender’s relationships with economist Larry Summers, a former Obama administration official, and venture capitalist Reid Hoffman, a prominent Democratic donor.

The president also said the investigation should examine JPMorgan Chase. Epstein had dozens of accounts at JPMorgan’s private bank and communicated often with bank executives, The Wall Street Journal has previously reported. JPMorgan, which cut ties with Epstein in 2013, filed what is known as a suspicious activity report to federal law enforcement beginning as early as 2002. The bank has paid a total of $365 million in civil settlements in connection with litigation over Epstein.

Attorney General Pam Bondi said she asked Jay Clayton, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York—the same office that brought charges against Epstein and his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell—to take the lead on the request. “As with all matters, the Department will pursue this with urgency and integrity to deliver answers to the American people,” she wrote in a social-media post.

Summers didn’t respond to a request for comment.

“The government had damning information about his crimes and failed to share it with us or other banks,” JPMorgan Chase spokeswoman Patricia Wexler said in a statement. “We regret any association we had with the man, but did not help him commit his heinous acts.”

In one exchange included in the newly released emails, Summers told Epstein after the president’s 2017 visit to Saudi Arabia that officials viewed Trump “as a clown, increasingly dangerous on foreign policy.” Summers has previously said he regrets associating with Epstein.

Clinton, who socialized with Epstein in the 1990s and traveled on Epstein’s jet, was also mentioned in the collection of emails released this week. In one exchange, Epstein was asked by a reporter if Clinton had ever been to his private island. Epstein responded, “clinton was NEVER EVER there, never.” A Clinton spokesman said earlier this week that the former president had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes.

Hoffman, the billionaire LinkedIn co-founder, visited Epstein’s private Caribbean island for a weekend, according to previously reported emails and schedules. Hoffman has said he met with Epstein to raise funds for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Hoffman said he regrets his interactions with Epstein and MIT has said that it was a mistake to accept gifts from Epstein.

Several emails released this week put a spotlight on Trump’s relationship with Epstein.

In an April 2, 2011, email to Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein referred to Trump as “that dog that hasn’t barked,” and said a young woman had “spent hours at my house with him.” [Mish: That’s the smoking gun Trump does no want investigated]

Hoffman Response on X

  1. Trump should release all of the Epstein files: every person and every document in the files.
  2. I want this complete release because it will bring justice for the victims.
  3. I want this complete release because it will show that the calls for baseless investigations of me are nothing more than political persecution and slander. I was never a client of Epstein’s and never had any engagement with him other than fundraising for MIT.
  4. The call for an investigation is an obvious ploy to avoid releasing the files. Simply release all the files, and expose the people who had both deep and ongoing relationships with Epstein.
  5. I will do everything in my power going forward to advocate for the release of the files, to get justice for Epstein’s victims, and to promote the values of truth our great country was founded on.
  6. I refuse to bend the knee to Donald Trump and his slanderous lies.

Those are individual posts by Reid Hoffman in the past 18 hours or so.

I agree with all of Hoffman’s comments, especially point #4: The call for an investigation is an obvious ploy to avoid releasing the files. Simply release all the files, and expose the people who had both deep and ongoing relationships with Epstein

Trump ‘knew about the girls’

Politico reports Jeffrey Epstein, in newly released email, says Trump ‘knew about the girls’

In another batch of emails released Wednesday, Epstein appeared to be keeping close tabs on a 2016 lawsuit filed by an anonymous woman who alleged Trump and Epstein had raped her in the 1990s when she was 13 years old. Epstein circulated links to news stories about the lawsuit to his lawyers and acquaintances, at one point using the word “nuts” in the subject line of an email that linked to a story about a judge scheduling a status conference in the case. The woman subsequently dropped the lawsuit.

An email Epstein sent to Landon Thomas, a New York Times journalist, in 2015 asks if Thomas “would … like [photos] of donald and girls in bikinis in my kitchen.”

Trump Withdraws Support for Once Staunch Backer Marjorie Taylor Greene

To round out a trio of free WSJ links, please consider Trump Withdraws Support for Once Staunch Backer Marjorie Taylor Greene.

President Trump said he is withdrawing his support for GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, a longtime backer who has recently criticized the Trump administration and called for the release of Justice Department investigative files into disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The president, in a Friday night social-media post, said he would consider supporting a primary challenge to Greene.

“I understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. In subsequent posts Saturday, Trump called her a Republican in name only and said she was a disgrace to the party.

Greene responded by saying Trump was lashing out at her in an effort to scare other Republicans from voting in support of releasing the Epstein files, and she questioned his priorities. She also declared her independence from Trump, the man she has credited with getting her interested in running for office.

“I have supported President Trump with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back and denounced him,” Greene wrote on X. “But I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump.”

She added that it was “astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level.” She said “most Americans wish he would fight this hard to help the forgotten men and women of America.”

The friction underscores escalating divisions among Trump’s Make America Great Again coalition as the president faces economic headwinds and fallout from Republicans’ poor performance in elections earlier this month. Some conservatives have also said he should focus less on foreign travel and return to his “America First” agenda.

Greene, who was elected to Congress in 2020, built her reputation as an unwavering Trump loyalist. But she has become critical of some of Trump’s positions, as voters have expressed mounting concern over grocery prices and the cost of healthcare. She has also sided with critics alarmed by Trump’s recent comments defending H-1B visas, and called Israel’s actions in Gaza a “genocide.”

In recent weeks, Greene has done several interviews in which she criticized her party for not having an answer on increasing healthcare costs.

At a time when Republicans were largely unified, Greene blamed both Republicans and Democrats for the shutdown and said on CNN that “it’s basically a you-know-what measuring contest between the men in leadership. And I think the country is sick and tired of it.”

Greene was one of four House Republicans who signed a petition designed to force a House vote on releasing files related to Epstein. The petition, which got its crucial 218th signature this week, will force a vote on the files, putting all House Republicans on record on releasing the documents. Speaker Mike Johnson (R., La.) said he would hold the vote next week.

“I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of “Congresswoman” Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia,” Trump said in his Friday Truth Social post, boasting of achievements under his administration,

“All I see ‘Wacky’ Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!,” he wrote.

Rarest of Rare Political Actions

It is very rare for politicians to reverse course as much as Marjorie Taylor Greene has.

She has gone from a person with severe Trump Worship Syndrome (TWS) to normal middle-of-the-road concerns on inflation that Trump denies in words and admits in actions.

And she is open about it. Most politician try to sweep it under the rug. Instead MTG stated “I have supported President Trump with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back and denounced him,” Greene wrote on X. “But I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump.”

Full Expanded Post From Above (Emphasis Mine)

President Trump just attacked me and lied about me. I haven’t called him at all, but I did send these text messages today. Apparently this is what sent him over the edge. The Epstein files. And of course he’s coming after me hard to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next weeks vote to release the Epstein files. It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level. But really most Americans wish he would fight this hard to help the forgotten men and women of America who are fed up with foreign wars and foreign causes, are going broke trying to feed their families, and are losing hope of ever achieving the American dream. That’s what I voted for. I have supported President Trump with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back and denounced him. But I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump. I worship God, Jesus is my savior, and I serve my district GA14 and the American people. I remain the same today as I’ve always been and I will continue to pray this administration will be successful because the American people desperately deserve what they voted for. For me, I remain America First and America Only!!!

MTG Call For Full Transparency November 14

MTG Today

Expanded Post From Today

I am now being contacted by private security firms with warnings for my safety as a hot bed of threats against me are being fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world. The man I supported and helped get elected. Aggressive rhetoric attacking me has historically led to death threats and multiple convictions of men who were radicalized by the same type rhetoric being directed at me right now. This time by the President of the United States. As a woman I take threats from men seriously. I now have a small understanding of the fear and pressure the women, who are victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his cabal, must feel. As a Republican, who overwhelmingly votes for President Trump‘s bills and agenda, his aggression against me which also fuels the venomous nature of his radical internet trolls (many of whom are paid), this is completely shocking to everyone. My phone is blowing up with constant amazing support. I’m so thankful! The Political Industrial Complex and the toxic violent nature of American politics must end. Our country is worth saving and it can only be done if we pull together and save ourselves.

TWS Reversal

Wow. I always thought MTG was a Trump cult nutcase inflicted with TWS. Well, she was.

This is the first case of TWS reversal at this political level in history.

I did not think such a thing could happen. But since it has happened, it can happen again.

Questions of the Day

Q: Will full Epstein files ever be released?
A: No

Q: Won’t the House vote for this?
A: Yes, newly sworn in Democratic Representative Adelita Grijalva signed the discharge petition to force a vote. She provided the 218th discharge petition vote that 4 republicans also signed.

Q: What’s next?
A: Even if the pending House vote is 218 or higher, the Senate will not approve. And even if the Senate approved, Trump would veto it. But ithe process itself would be very messy for Trump. Expect Trump to threaten the 4 Republicans who signed the discharge petition.

Q: Who are the 4 Republicans
A: Representative Thomas Massie (Kentucky), who spearheaded the bill with Democratic Representative Ro Khanna. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (Georgia). Representative Nancy Mace (South Carolina). Representative Lauren Boebert (Colorado).

Massie and Greene are immovable. Trump will seriously threaten Mace and Boebert.

Will Any of This Matter?

That’s the important question. My answer is not directly to a significant degree.

Epstein is now a distant memory for most. MAGA voters are so inflicted with TWS they just don’t give a damn. They believe Trump now when he calls it a hoax. And they believed Trump when Trump played it up.

In the real world, people are sick of inflation, of housing, of Obamacare fighting.

And republicans own the Obamacare crisis now.

Their only solution is a free money scheme that will be a budget buster breaker if enacted but still will not fix the problems. If nothing happens, Republicans will get 100% of the blame for Obamcare.

Like MTG or not, she appears to have figured this out and is pouring it on, in multiple directions simultaneously.

Meanwhile the dog that did not bark, Trump, is now howling at the moon about Epstein, about housing, and about inflation.

Contradictory Messages

Trump is so caught up in contradictory lies it’s hard to know where to start. On one hand “inflation is nonexistent”.

On the other hand Trump is acting to combat the inflation he caused.

Biggest Trump Tariff TACO Yet

Earlier today I asked What Should We Make of the Biggest Trump Tariff TACO Yet?

Trump is rolling back tariffs. I am laughing, not complaining.

Best Comments of the Day

  • “It’s certainly a step in the right direction, but it’s important to recognize that the pain that American working families and businesses feel from tariffs goes way beyond coffee and bananas,” said Jake Colvin, president of the National Foreign Trade Council.
  • “By admitting that lowering tariffs will lower prices for U.S. consumers, the Trump administration is acknowledging what economists have pointed out all along: tariffs raise prices,” said Erica York, vice president of federal tax policy at the Tax Foundation, a think tank critical of tariffs.

Trump’s actions, not words, prove he is concerned about inflation.

Trump Labels Those Against Tariffs as “Fools”, Proposes $2,000 to Everyone

On November 9, 2025, I noted Trump Labels Those Against Tariffs as “Fools”, Proposes $2,000 to Everyone

Trump proposes another massive wealth redistribution scheme.

Four Trump Tariff Positions

  1. Use Tariffs to eliminate the deficit and pay down debt
  2. Use tariffs to bring production back to the US
  3. Use tariffs as a redistribution scheme to give everyone $2,000
  4. Use tariffs to pay for the damage Trump he caused to farmers

$2,000 Redistribution Math

  • Total Population: 343 Million – Cost $686 Billion
  • Noninstitutional Population Age 16+ of the US: 274 million – Cost $548 Billion
  • Noninstitutional Population Subset: 200 Million – Cost $400 Billion

Five Questions

  1. Who pays the tariffs?
  2. Since when do Republicans cheer massive money redistribution schemes?
  3. How does one eliminate the deficit and pay down debt when the deficit is much larger than tariffs can bring in?
  4. How can tariffs simultaneously bring back production and collect money?
  5. How can you redistribute $400 billion minimum, plus farm bailouts, and shrink the deficit?

Five Answers

  1. US consumers and businesses
  2. Since Trump
  3. You don’t
  4. You don’t
  5. You don’t

What’s Trump Doing?

This is speculation on my part, but I think he is futilely trying to drum up support for tariffs when the Supreme Court rules against him on reciprocal tariffs.

Trump wants to blame the court for their ruling if and when it goes against him. (Note: I have a post coming up on the Court decision regarding the odds, and the vote count by individual justices).

Of course, never discount the possibility that there is no rationale for Trump’s madness, so there’s just madness. He says or does things on whims without thinking.

Yes, it’s this stupid and this convoluted.

You can like Marjorie Taylor Greene, or not. But at least she now sees Trump’s hypocrisy and is calling him out.

Q: After promising to fix Inflation, jobs, and housing, what the hell has Trump delivered?
A: Impose nonsensical tariffs that damage the economy and raise prices, increase the deficit, join wars in the Mideast, start wars in South America, and threaten a war in Nigeria. The tariffs are backfiring now. Well OK, Trump rightfully went after DEI. And he halted the immigration wave. However, he f’d up deportation, and had to back off farm and meatpacker raids.

Is that a combination you voted for?

Regardless, it’s still the economy stupid. And Republicans own all of the above. Yet, all Trump does is ooze extremely contradictory nonsense on Truth social. He now sounds just like Biden.

For discussion, please see Three Statements on Price Gouging: Who Said What? Trump, Warren, or Biden?

I list three statements. Tell me who said them.

Congrats to Marjorie Taylor Greene for seeing the hypocrisy of Trump. It’s a start. Others are sure to follow.

This is amazing, but TWS is curable after all. MTG is proof.
