The first Andaz hotel in Bangkok opens within the lively One Bangkok development, offering views of Lumphini Park.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) today announced the opening of Andaz One Bangkok on December 19, 2025 – a distinctive new lifestyle hotel created for curious urban travelers eager to immerse themselves in the many layers of the Thai capital. Conceived as a vibrant social hub, the hotel will blend locally inspired design, expressive art, and intuitive, unscripted service to deliver an experience that feels both authentically Bangkok and distinctly Andaz.
Andaz One Bangkok officially opens its doors in Thailand.
Andaz One Bangkok anchors a key hospitality component of One Bangkok, the largest holistically integrated district at the heart of the city. Envisioned as a new urban landmark, One Bangkok brings together Grade A workplaces, high-end retail zones, luxury residences, world-class hotels, dedicated art and culture venues, generous open and green spaces, and a state-of-the-art LIVE entertainment arena designed for major concerts, global touring productions, and large-scale events. Within this connected ecosystem, Andaz One Bangkok is a lifestyle-centric haven where business travelers, leisure guests, and local residents can gather, collaborate, and unwind in a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere. The hotel will complement Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach as the second Andaz-branded property in Thailand, offering guests the choice of a beachside sanctuary or an energizing urban escape under the same brand.
Located along historic Wireless Road – a storied boulevard that once housed Thailand’s first radio telegraph station and is now lined with embassies, cultural institutions, and upscale residences – Andaz One Bangkok enjoys a prestigious address that bridges Bangkok’s past and present. The area’s reputation as a diplomatic and lifestyle hub gives guests immediate access to a cosmopolitan neighborhood rich in history, architecture, dining, and nightlife.
The hotel stands beside Lumphini Park, the city’s most iconic expanse of urban greenery. From guestrooms and suites to elevated public spaces, guests will be treated to wide-ranging views across the park’s lakes, lawns, and shaded pathways, juxtaposed with the dramatic city skyline beyond. This rare proximity to nature in the city center creates a sense of retreat, offering opportunities for morning jogs, leisurely strolls, or quiet reflection just moments from the hotel’s doorstep.
Connectivity is central to the Andaz One Bangkok experience. Seamlessly integrated into Bangkok’s transportation network, the hotel offers direct, weather-protected access to MRT Lumphini Station from within the One Bangkok development. This ensures seamless access to key commercial corridors, cultural landmarks, riverside attractions, and leading shopping and lifestyle districts, including Sukhumvit, Silom, and Ratchaprasong. Whether guests are meeting clients, exploring galleries and temples, discovering the city’s acclaimed street food, or experiencing its nightlife, the hotel serves as an efficient launchpad for every itinerary.
Beyond rail connections, Andaz One Bangkok also benefits from convenient links to the city’s expressway system, providing swift connectivity to both Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang International Airports. These transport advantages make the hotel a strategic base for international arrivals, regional business travelers, and guests planning onward journeys across Thailand and Southeast Asia. Combined with its location in the multi-dimensional One Bangkok district – where workplaces, residences, art, dining, retail, and entertainment are all within walking distance – Andaz One Bangkok is poised to become a compelling gateway to both local discovery and global exploration, inviting guests to experience Bangkok with greater depth, ease, and curiosity.
“Bangkok has always been a city that rewards curiosity,” said Amar Lalvani, President & Creative Director, Lifestyle, Hyatt.“With Andaz One Bangkok, we wanted to create a place that feels woven into the rhythm of the city — a hotel that celebrates its creative pulse, its heritage, and its sense of possibility. The Andaz brand is about true connection to place, and this opening brings that idea to life in a way that feels both contemporary and deeply rooted. We’re excited to welcome guests into an experience that reflects the Bangkok we love: vibrant, soulful, and endlessly inspiring.”
Concept and Design
Andaz, translated from Hindi, signifies “personal style.” This ethos of individuality and genuine local connection is expressed through design deeply rooted in its surroundings, celebrating the layered narratives of the Wireless Road neighborhood and the dynamic, ever-evolving rhythms of modern Bangkok.
Thailand’s leading interior design firm, PIA, drew inspiration from the city’s bustling streets and tucked-away sois (alleys), weaving Bangkok’s vivid colors, tactile materials, and creative urban energy into every corner of the hotel. Rooted in the heritage and character of its locale, the property reinterprets local architecture, culture, and everyday life through a contemporary lens, turning familiar scenes into refined, modern expressions. Conceived as a “Vertical Neighborhood,” Andaz One Bangkok mirrors the city’s rich diversity—each area unveils a different facet of Bangkok, much like the sense of discovery found in wandering through its many sois.
Key design references include the Thai mid-century movement, reflected in the sinuous arches and gentle curves that recall historic landmarks such as Vidyu Palace. Striking neighborhood photography animates the corridors and guestrooms. At the same time, subtle details—such as patterns inspired by traditional Thai window grills and bespoke works by some of Thailand’s most celebrated female artists—imbue the spaces with warmth, personality, and a strong sense of place.
Guestrooms and Suites
The 244 rooms and suites span from 38 square meters to the expansive 137-square-meter Poolhouse and the impressive 197-square-meter Presidential Suite. Inside, vibrant yet refined interiors blend bold, contemporary design with an authentic Thai sensibility, expressed through locally inspired artwork, rich textures, and warm, layered lighting. Floor-to-ceiling windows invite abundant natural light, illuminating thoughtfully curated décor and comfortable seating areas that balance relaxation and productivity.
Most rooms frame sweeping views of Lumphini Park, revealing a calming panorama of lush greenery and the distant city skyline. In this elevated urban sanctuary, guests can momentarily step away from Bangkok’s high energy. By day, the park’s tree canopy forms a soothing curtain of green; by evening, the glow of city lights creates a quietly dramatic contrast.
Each marble bathroom is designed as a serene retreat, featuring a spacious walk-in rain shower and BYREDO Eleventh Hour bath amenities that lend a subtle, sophisticated fragrance. Sleek fixtures, generous counter space, and soft lighting combine to create a spa-like atmosphere, ideal for unwinding after a day in the city.
Thoughtful in-room amenities enhance every stay: a complimentary non-alcoholic minibar stocked with locally inspired snacks and refreshments; a 65-inch HDTV for cinematic in-room entertainment; high-speed Wi-Fi for effortless connectivity; a Nespresso machine for freshly brewed coffee at any time; and a Dyson hairdryer for elevated everyday comfort.
Beyond the rooms, guests can retreat to the 24-hour Andaz Lounge, a striking, design-led social space that evolves throughout the day. By daylight, Andaz hosts offer complimentary refreshments—ranging from specialty coffees and teas to light bites—while in the evening, the atmosphere shifts as cocktails are served and the lounge takes on a more intimate, convivial mood. With its mix of plush seating, communal tables, and quieter corners, the lounge becomes a natural gathering point for conversation, connection, and storytelling.
Personable and well-versed in the city, Andaz hosts act as local insiders, ready with tailored recommendations that span hidden eateries, contemporary galleries, neighborhood markets, and cultural landmarks—helping guests uncover Bangkok’s most authentic and vibrant experiences.
For relaxation and wellness, the seventh floor features an outdoor infinity pool that appears to spill into the greenery of Lumphini Park below, offering a refreshing place to swim or lounge while taking in uninterrupted views of the skyline. Sunbeds and shaded cabanas invite guests to linger, while poolside refreshments add a resort-like touch in the heart of the city. Just steps away, a state-of-the-art fitness center provides a comprehensive range of cardio and strength equipment, free weights, and dedicated stretching areas, allowing guests to maintain their fitness routines while overlooking the cityscape.
Dining and Entertainment
Jing specializes in authentic Chinese cuisine in a casual yet refined setting, welcoming guests from breakfast through dinner. Led by native Chinese chefs, the restaurant highlights time-honored recipes and regional specialties, bringing traditional Chinese flavors to life with a modern touch. Its name—meaning “view” in Chinese—pays tribute to the surrounding lush greenery, echoed in its elegant, nature-inspired aesthetic. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame verdant vistas, while modern décor in warm tones, soft lighting, and organic textures sets a relaxed, sophisticated tone. At the heart of the space, the open kitchen becomes a lively stage, where the sizzle of woks and the aroma of fragrant broths create an immersive dining experience.
Andaz Terrace is an all-day al fresco dining and lounge concept with a spacious, breezy terrace overlooking sweeping sunset views of Lumphini Park and the city’s high-rise skyline. From morning through late evening, it serves Asian-influenced cuisine, from light daytime bites to more substantial shared plates. Highlights include a course-by-course afternoon tea experience, Hong Kong-inspired bakery creations, and thoughtfully curated tea programs that spotlight premium leaves and creative infusions. As the sun sets, expertly mixed tea-based cocktails and relaxed lounge seating make this terrace a favorite spot for sundowners and casual gatherings.
Perched on the 23rd floor, Piscari crowns the building with a sun-drenched rooftop perch dedicated to coastal Mediterranean cuisine. French chef Marc Vasseur, drawing on his background in Michelin-acclaimed restaurants, crafts a menu that celebrates pristine seafood, seasonal vegetables, and bright, herb-driven flavors. Sharing plates reinforces the supper club feel, encouraging convivial, lingering meals. An open kitchen brings guests closer to the action, while two private dining rooms provide a more intimate backdrop for special occasions. A striking Gourmet Library, showcasing a daily selection of the freshest seafood on ice, underscores the restaurant’s dedication to quality and freshness.
As daylight softens into twilight, Piscari transforms from a relaxed, sunlit retreat into a vibrant nighttime destination. The tempo rises as a DJ often sets a dynamic soundtrack, and a hidden speakeasy, concealed behind an unmarked door, offers a more secretive, mood-lit escape for craft cocktails and late-night conversations. The rooftop terrace, fully open to Bangkok’s tropical sky, becomes a breezy, playful playground where panoramic city views, ambient lighting, and an upbeat atmosphere capture the city’s spirited energy after dark.
