This part of the series (number 10) covers PSVR2 games starting with the letter J.
I’ve also begun including information about reprojection and native FPS, following requests from the community.
I’ve had a lot of people asking for more PSVR2 reviews—and while this blog has its roots firmly in the Amiga scene, VR has always sparked just as much curiosity among readers. With my background and involvement in both worlds, especially from a development perspective, it feels only natural to keep covering both. After all, retro passion and cutting-edge immersion share the same heartbeat: the pure love of gaming.

Once a gamer, always a gamer—every title here is judged based on fun, Jank and playability, not just on flashy features or unused tech.
I’ve also included a trailer (if available) for each game, embedded right in the headline for easy access.
Job Simulator…
This one probably needs no introduction — it’s one of the best-selling VR games of all time, a huge hit both physically and as a digital download on PSVR. The crazy part? It still charts on that platform years later. Clearly, the developers wanted to bring that success to PSVR2 — and much to our surprise, it’s also charting on PSVR2, and another thing is that it’s a free upgrade for those who already owned it on PSVR.
The PSVR2 version comes with some notable improvements over the original, most obviously in graphics and controls. That said, there’s still a fair bit of jank, and you’ll need a large play space since standing, bending, and stretching in all directions is required — just like the PSVR version. The game is still fun, but it feels very much like old VR technology, and in many ways, the genre has moved on over the past few years.

Journey To Foundation…
For fans of Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series, this game will feel instantly familiar — it’s based on the first book in the series. Let’s get one thing out of the way: this game really should have been the start of a series (and it was supposed to be a trilogy?). Unfortunately, the developer Archiact folded after the game’s sales fell far short of expectations.
Now, onto the game itself. The narrative, story, and overall production values are outstanding — it genuinely feels like being part of a movie, and I was engaged every minute I played. Gameplay mechanics like mind control, stealth, and the generally slower pacing work really well, and there are clever moments where you need to use a laser pen to cut through metal, using mind control and more, which adds variety. The graphics, sound, and overall presentation are excellent.
It’s a fun game with a compelling story and an intriguing concept. There’s a little jank here and there, mostly around combat and shooting sequences, which can occasionally be annoying but are never game-breaking.

Jurassic World – Aftermath Collection…
Another PSVR title that made its way to PSVR2. I never played the original PSVR version, and honestly, I’m glad I didn’t — it allowed me to go in completely blind on PSVR2, which has a much more fitting control system for a stealth-focused FPS like this one.
I’m not entirely sure what I expected going in. There wasn’t much hype, and the graphical style certainly didn’t scream “must-buy.” From the moment I started, I was a little disappointed — it immediately felt like an old VR game that hadn’t aged well, and that feeling lingered for hours.
I had very little fun with this one. The jank was frustrating, and the gameplay felt repetitive. That said, there were a few moments I enjoyed — the very beginning and the final sections of the game felt more polished and exciting. Unfortunately, the jump scares were overused and quickly lost their impact.
Jurassic World VR isn’t a game I’d recommend to most players. It’s not terrible, but it feels empty and overly reliant on just one or two mechanics that aren’t particularly special.

Summary…
And there you have it — number 10 of this new review series! There’s no set ETA for the next instalment, as these take time to put together, but as always, your feedback will help shape how soon the next one arrives. Stay tuned!
