PEAK is a fantastic new indie game that has players scaling a procedural mountain that changes every day. The game is constantly being updated and added to, so there’s almost always something new to try out.

If you’re not particularly interested in just climbing mountains, you’ll be happy to know that there are several cosmetic items to unlock. Of course, you’ll need to play through the game to unlock these, and you’ll probably need more than a few runs if you’re hoping to get them all.

I’ll cover all the obtainable cosmetics and how to get them. If you’re a big achievement hunter, you’ll love this, as it will essentially explain how to obtain every achievement in the game.

How to Unlock Cosmetics

Every cosmetic is linked to a badge you can earn. There are ones for reaching each section of the mountain and some for completing certain tasks or using certain items.

I’ll cover everything I can below and mark any that need co-op multiplayer. That way, if you’re looking for something specific, you can find it and know exactly what you’ll need to do.

While you don’t need any of these items, self-expression can be a lot of fun, especially if you might have a badge that a friend of yours doesn’t. You don’t need friends to complete a vast majority of the badges, but having them around can help a lot.

At its core, Peak is a co-op game, and if you’re looking to grab a lot of the badges, you’re probably better off bringing a friend along to help. You can always go it alone, and for some badges, you’ll need to, but there’s just something about listening to your friends scream as they fall hundreds of meters that always makes me laugh.
