The Best Gaming Trilogy Of All-Time Is On Sale On PSN For Just $6

There’s never a shortage of games to play on the PS5 (or even the PS4), as long as you have money, that is. However, for many gamers on a budget, we have to be selective about which games to allocate funds for.

This is why the latest gaming trilogy, now heavily discounted on the PlayStation Store, is something worth highlighting.

This isn’t just a cheap game; no, it’s one of the best gaming trilogies of all time (the best-ever, in my book), and you can get all three games for just $6!

Latest PSN Store Sale Has One Of The Best RPG Trilogies On Sale For A Limited Time

Sony has launched the Ready, Set, Play! sale on the PlayStation Store this week. And while a lot of AAA (and indie) games are on sale, there is one deal that caught our eye.

This is none other than the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, which compiles the first three games in the franchise, all of which have undergone a visual overhaul, gameplay improvements, and added features, and includes all three games’ DLC.

Each game should take you around 30–50 hours on your first playthrough, which means for $6, you’ll have over 100 hours of entertainment.

This is BioWare at its peak, as all three games were reviewed very well to the point that they were in contention for Game of the Year in various publications back then.

Even the Legendary Edition was reviewed quite well, too. On Open Critic, it’s sitting at a “Mighty” rating, which isn’t surprising.

If you haven’t played the trilogy yet, then this is a no-brainer. This is easily the best $6 you’ll spend all week, since, for less than the price of most meals, you’re getting literally hundreds of hours of entertainment.

Despite the recent layoffs at the studio, BioWare is also working on the next game in the franchise, and while details around it are scarce, we do know it will feature photorealistic graphics compared to the studio’s past work, Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

If you pick up the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, let us know if it still hits hard after all these years.
