If you’ve been playing Borderlands 4, you are probably on the hunt for some strong weapons. Well, there are plenty of bosses to choose from who all drop powerful legendary items. For instance, you can get the Convergence from Bramblesong.
One of the most powerful weapons in the game, called the San Saba Songbird, is a dedicated drop from a boss in the far north of Carcadia Burn. The boss in question is none other than Rocken Roller.
Let’s break down where you can find Rocken Roller in Borderlands 4 and all the legendary drops that you can get from this large pangolin boss.
Where to Find Rocken Roller in Borderlands 4
Rocken Roller is the boss of the Abandoned Augur Mine called Trinket Crevass, in the western part of the Ruined Sumplands in the Carcadia Burn region of Kairos. You can easily access this mine by traveling southwest of the Wildhorn’s Beard Safehouse in the northern part of the Ruined Sumplands.
The mine entrance is tucked away at the base of the cliff that is easier to see from the north, though you can reach the area easily from Moxxi’s Bar is well. Inside, you will find numerous pangolin enemies, but the path is very short, and you can easily make your way to the boss with little trouble.
All Rocken Roller Drops/Rewards
As with any of the other bosses in the game, Rocken Roller has multiple dedicated drops that are easier to farm from than other bosses. These include one of the most powerful guns in the game that you can stack damage with to one-shot bosses.
|
Name |
Item Type |
Abilities |
|---|---|---|
|
AF1000 |
Repkit |
Repkit duration is increased by +100% and cooldown is reduced by -50%. |
|
San Saba Songbird |
Weapon/Pistol |
Swapping weapons increases this weapon’s damage by +100% for 5s. Currently, a glitch allows you to stack this infinitely, giving you the ability to one-shot boss enemies. |
|
T.K’s Wave |
Weapon/Shotgun |
Gun fires a wave of bullets that travel in a wavy pattern and go through enemies. This is a returning weapon from the original Borderlands game. |
The most common legendary item I receive while farming Rocken Roller is the AF1000 Repkit. With that being said, I rarely get the San Saba Songbird, so you might be farming this boss for a while before you get your hands on it.
This boss will not drop any legendary class mods. At least, I have not received any after hours of farming it.
Tips for Fighting Rocken Roller
Rocken Roller can be a bit annoying since it is one of the enemies with the Eridium crystals sticking out of it. You will first need to destroy these crystals before you can damage the boss. These enemies become more prevalent after you defeat Vile Lictor.
As with any enemy like this, when the crystals are destroyed, they will float around the boss. Make sure to shoot the crystals before they can reattach themselves, or you will need to destroy them all over again.
Once the crystals have been destroyed, you can freely damage the boss’s health bar. Using an incendiary weapon is best here since the boss has a red health bar. Watch out for when the boss rolls around the arena, as this can easily push you up against walls and knock you down.
Rocken Roller will also toss rocks in the arena that you will want to avoid. Luckily, if you go down, there are plenty of smaller pangolins in the arena that you can use to get a second wind.
