It’s the start of another new week, and that means a batch of new games is being released for the PS5 and PS4 on the PlayStation Store.
Same as with the past weeks for the month, there are some big games releasing this week, with some odd releases that might be sleeper hits.

Release Highlights For The Week
- Baby Steps (PS5 – Sept. 23) – Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a baby that’s learning to walk for the first time? You can do so in Baby Steps, a physics-based walking simulator, which has one of the most far-out premises we’ve seen in a long time.
- Silent Hill f (PS5 – Sept. 25) – Konami’s first-ever all-new Silent Hill game in well over a decade, this one is developed by NeoBards, and doesn’t require you to know the backstory of any game in the series. Can Konami prove the Silent Hill 2 remake was not a fluke? We’ll know for sure very soon.
- Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds (PS5, PS4 – Sept. 25) – The Sonic Racing franchise returns, and it’s as good as it ever was. Our review raved about it and how it’s positioned to be supported for a very long time.
- EA Sports FC 26 (PS5, PS4 – Sept. 26) – The latest licensed football game by EA. You really don’t have a choice if you want to play a soccer sim on your console or PC with real-life players and teams. Fortunately for us, it seems like it’s a competent new iteration and is a more grounded sports game than FC27, based on our review.
- Pac-Man World 2: Re-Pac (PS5, PS4 – Sept. 26) – The remake of the action platformer arrives this week, and is souped up with new enhancements, a brand-new 2-player mode, and even new features.
