What is Nyrulna in Baldur’s Gate 3?
Nyrulna is a legendary trident in Baldur’s Gate 3 that you can only find in the third act of the game. It boasts rather high damage, but the main reason for getting it is its abilities.
For starters, Nyrulna has the Zephyr Connection ability. This means a few things. First, it will come back to you whenever you throw it, making it great for giant barbarians and fighters. Second, you cannot be forced to drop this weapon. Third, the weapon creates an explosion where it lands, dealing thunder damage in the area.
Nyrulna also gives you the Veil of the Wind ability. This means that you gain increased movement speed and jump distance. It also means that you have immunity to fall damage, meaning that jumping is always a viable option.
Finally, since this is a glowing weapon, you will always have a light source. This is great for those who have chosen to play a character who doesn’t have darkvision.

Where to find Nyrulna in Baldur’s Gate 3
If you want to get your hands on Nyrulna in Baldur’s Gate 3, you will need to wait until Act three, when you have reached Rivington at Wyrm’s Crossing. Once you have reached this area, locate the Circus of The Last Days.
The circus is located to the north of the Rivington fast travel point and to the left of The Rivington General. Once there, you will be confronted by a ghoul. Get past him and enter the circus.
Inside the circus, locate the Djinni named Akabi. He is on the southern edge of the circus and is floating next to a prize wheel.
The goal is to trick the Djinni. To do this, start a conversation with him. While he is busy, have a stealthy character of yours pickpocket him and steal the Djinni Ring. I recommend Astarion since he is a good rogue.
Switch back to the character who is speaking to Akabi. The wheel will land on the grand prize, but Akabi will accuse you of cheating, sending you to the middle of a jungle in a far-off land.
Once here, you simply need to walk toward the portal that leads back to Rivington. Next to the portal, you will see a chest. Lockpick the chest, and Nyrulna will be waiting for you inside.
