The week of October 6, 2025, sees many PlayStation Plus subscribers gain access to three new free games, including one chaotic multiplayer title for you to play with your friends. Premium, Extra, or Essential members of the subscription service will be able to download the game immediately, both on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 platforms.
Alongside Alan Wake 2 and Cocoon, Goat Simulator 3 is the third game coming to PS Plus on October 7, 2025. This comes alongside an experimental Game Trial with Midnight Murder Club, which allows you to play that game’s demo for an hour before you decide to purchase it or not. If you do, your trophies and progress for that game will carry over.

Goat Simulator 3 was originally released in 2022 by Coffee Stain Studios, marking a third entry into a light-hearted action series where players can embody chaotic goat animals who lick and wreck the world around them. Based in an open-world sandbox, players can wreak havoc with their friends and discover hidden secrets on the fictional island of San Angora.
Four players can join together in a multiplayer experience through local or online co-op, gathering in herds of goats to participate in the base game and all of Goat Simulator 3‘s expansive DLC content. This title expands from the last game in the series, adding far more features, mini-games, customization options, challenges, and events for you to discover.

This “meme game” is known for having goofy physics, where your goat character headbutts, licks, and triple jumps in a sandbox environment that reacts to your every action. Seven different mini-games are available alongside open-world quests and secrets, giving you more to do than you may have expected.
The remaster of the first Goat Simulator game was a well-done return of the original title, but its lack of content also shines despite the inclusion of past DLC. Goat Simulator 3 has many more hours worth of activities for players to participate in.
San Angora is a vast world, but one of Goat Simulator 3‘s greatest features is how you can traverse it. Part of the fun of this game is using jetpacks, skateboards, or a variety of other tools to ragdoll your way across the map. Finding new, wacky ways to travel across the open-world adds replayability, especially when you have friends coming up with new strategies with you.
There are many different Easter Eggs and secret quests within the game as well, encouraging you to dive deeper into the game’s sandbox. With multiple customization features to style your goat character, Goat Simulator 3 is a far more extensive title that PlayStation Plus players can spend time on while it’s free this month.
