The Honkai: Star Rail 3.7 livestream is set to occur soon, and the event will showcase all the new content planned for the upcoming patch, including details about the new playable character, as well as the story updates, which should be the final ones in the main Amphoreus arc. Currently, the RPG is in the second half of Version 3.6, and players can obtain and build Permansor Terrae in Honkai: Star Rail.

Luckily, you may not have to wait too much to ascertain exactly what will be added to the turn-based RPG in Version 3.7. While developer HoYoverse has yet to make an official announcement, it’s very likely that the Honkai: Star Rail 3.7 livestream will occur on October 24, on the Friday two weeks before the update’s planned arrival on November 5.

Updates usually last six weeks and arrive on Wednesdays (Tuesday night in the United States), and their respective livestreams tend to happen two weeks before, on Friday or Saturday mornings. As such, the best estimation is either October 24 or 25, at around 7 am. If the livestream does not occur by then, it’s a sign that the Version 3.7 livestream itself may be internally postponed.

Aside from a short delay in the beta test’s versions, HoYoverse has shown no indication that the update will be pushed back. The official announcement for the Version 3.7 livestream should occur a few days before the actual event, possibly between October 20 and October 22.

Cyrene Will Be An Amphoreus Support, According To The Leaks

Only one new character has been announced for Version 3.7: Cyrene. While HoYoverse will only truly detail her abilities during the upcoming livestream, Honkai: Star Rail 3.7 leaks about Cyrene have already detailed her kit, and she may be extremely broken. Cyrene is confirmed to be a 5-star Ice character following the Path of the Remembrance.

According to the leaks, however, she will operate as a support in teams comps. Unlike other supports before her, she allegedly will be capable of providing specific bonuses for Chrysos Heirs characters, while offering a generic buff to characters that aren’t from Amphoreus. For example, Cyrene’s buff for Castorice in Honkai: Star Rail is rumored to allow Castorice’s Newbud to overflow up to 200%, and then convert the overflow into extra DMG.

When applied to Cipher, for instance, Cipher will deal extra DMG, and the enemies will have their DEF stats reduced. The characters who can get specific buffs from Cyrene are rumored to be Remembrance Trailblazer, Aglaea, Tribbie, Mydei, Castorice, Anaxa, Hyacine, Cipher, Phainon, Hysilens, Cerydra, Evernight, Dan Heng: Permansor Terrae, and Cyrene.

Characters who aren’t Chrysos Heirs will have a DMG buff applied to them for two turns, according to the leak. While she is targeted to be an Amphoreus support, Cyrene may be the strongest support in Honkai: Star Rail, if the leaks prove to be accurate. This will likely be showcased during the Version 3.7 livestream, even if not to its full extent.

The livestream should also serve as a stage for the announcement of Version 3.7 banners. There haven’t been any reliable leaks during these beta tests. The speculation is that Castorice, Hyacine, Mydei, Cipher, and Phainon may rerun during the update – though there were leaks that Castorice would rerun in Version 3.6, and they proved to be inaccurate. Even so, it’s about time these units get reruns, so you may want to save your Stellar Jade.

This Update Should Bring The Final Main Amphoreus Quests

In addition to the new character’s detailed kit and the banner structure, the Version 3.7 livestream will also likely tease the new main campaign quests, even if it doesn’t reveal all the details. These are expected to be the final main story missions on Amphoreus, so you may expect an epic conclusion with a brand-new boss fight and an end to the largest destination campaign so far.

Aside from this, you’ll also be able to partake in several limited-time events, all of which should be fully detailed and highlighted during the Version 3.7 livestream. There have been rumors about a new form for a classic Honkai: Star Rail character, but it’s likely they will only be shown further in the future.

There haven’t been many clear leaks about other pieces of content in the patch other than the main story missions, so it’s possible that, while it does feature events like any other update, the game will be centered mostly around the conclusion of the Amphoreus story arc – and some indication of the Astral Express’ next destination. This, however, will likely not be presented during the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail 3.7 livestream.
