Season 5 of Marvel Rivals sees the introduction of a new Battle Pass, a collection of cosmetic rewards for several characters that you can unlock at your own pace. From free costumes to valuable in-game currency, the Battle Pass holds an incredible amount of items for ambitious players. For Season 5, the “Grand Garden Adventure” theme creates some unique rewards, including some teases to future updates.
The Battle Pass has two variations, much like the set of rewards in Season 4 did. You can earn items for Free in the limited Battle Pass, or earn everything by purchasing the Luxury Battle Pass, which costs 990 Lattice currency. The Luxury tier includes every cosmetic in 12 pages worth of rewards, organized into pages you can start working through the moment Season 5 starts on November 14, 2025.
How To Earn Items From The Season 5 Battle Pass
Complete Various Challenges For The Right Currency
Each reward in the Battle Pass, either on the Free or Luxury version, costs Chrono Tokens to unlock for your account. It costs 200–600 Chrono Tokens to get individual items from the Battle Pass, meaning you have to earn the in-game currency to collect anything.
The purple currency is relatively easy to earn, especially with faster single-player modes in Marvel Rivals offering quicker matches to meet different goals. Chrono Tokens are largely earned through Missions and Challenges, which can be completed in a variety of match types. Some range from simple tasks, like reaching a certain value of Healing as a Strategist, while others are complex, such as winning a number of games as a specific character.
Many in-game rewards for Chrono Tokens are best collected through events, such as the “Elder’s Crossroad” event launching with Season 5. Some Units (blue currency) or Lattice (gold currency) might be collectible through events as well.
Many adjustments to Chrono Tokens and in-game challenges have made it far easier to earn the currency than previous Seasons. That being said, you’ll have to focus on different tasks during matches to best meet challenge goals to get as many Chrono Tokens as possible. The faster you spend Chrono Tokens to unlock Battle Pass items, the faster you’ll get access to the unique skins being offered.
Every Season 5 Battle Pass Reward
Earn Unique Looks And Comic-Inspired Aesthetics
The “Grand Garden Adventure” Season 5 Battle Pass is very similar to others, containing 10 different character skins to earn. These costumes come with unique Nameplates, Emotes, and sometimes cinematic MVP animations for you to equip. Every cosmetic on a page of the Battle Pass must be purchased before a skin becomes available, giving you some direction on what items to unlock first.
Unfortunately, there are little to no ways to earn Battle Pass items in the new “non-combat” Times Square map in Season 5. Since most Chrono Token rewards are tied to PvP content, the new gathering hub is not the place to farm the currency you need.

Some of the in-game currency gifted through some pages can be used to purchase other cosmetics in the Store, but only from a separate set of offered costumes and other bundles. The Season 5 Battle Pass for Marvel Rivals has many rewards that will never show up in the Store, so managing to get everything requires you to work through each page.
