Millie Bobby Brown’s Controversial Stranger Things Season Ranking

Stranger Things season 5, volume 1, has been released, and the stars have been sharing their thoughts on the season so far. Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role as Eleven/Jane Hopper, has revealed her season ranking so far, which many find controversial.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Brown, alongside co-stars Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, and Finn Wolfhard, answered questions that included Brown ranking Stranger Things seasons.

Millie Bobby Brown’s Stranger Things season ranking:

  1. Season 1
  2. Season 5
  3. Season 3
  4. Season 4
  5. Season 2

The actress went into detail regarding her reasoning for the rankings and stated:

“Season one, nostalgia-wise, it’s my favorite season. Personally, it was the most exciting time of my life. But season five, the way it looks, the way it feels, the plot – all of it is my favorite. Least favorite, Season 2, just ’cause I don’t really remember it. Everyone hates Episode 7.”

However, co-star Schnapp disagreed and said season 2 gets “way too much slander,” and Matarazzo agreed by adding, “underrated season.”

Episode 7 of season 2, titled “The Lost Sister,” is arguably the worst episode of the series due to its cringey dialogue and bad ratings, but season 5, volume 1 has already redeemed the plot due to the return of Linnea Berthelsen’s character, Eight/Kali, who was shown being held hostage by the military in the Upside Down.

Season 5, Volume 1 has also had mixed reviews so far and is the worst-rated season on Rotten Tomatoes, but episode 4, “Sorcerer,” made up for that and was the highest-rated single episode of the series with a 9.8/10 on IMDb.

Stranger Things has turned into a global phenomenon and has reportedly generated over $1 billion in revenue for Netflix. The series is constantly trending on the streaming service, and when the new season began, it actually crashed the whole site.

Volume 1 of Stranger Things season 5 is now available on Netflix. Volume 2 is set to release on December 25, with the series finale coming to Netflix on December 31.
