Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 just got a huge new free DLC content update, and it’s absolutely packed with new content, including new weapons, new bosses and Endless Tower opponents, fresh new outfits, and a trove of new Pictos/Luminas. The free update is a great way to let fans celebrate Clair Obscur‘s epic win at The Game Awards this year.
Most of the content in this update, including a majority of the Pictos, will be found in the new Verso’s Drafts area found east of Lumiere, only accessible once players have reached Act 3 and have the ability to swim underwater with Esquie. However, additional challenging enemies have also been added to the Endless Tower, so players will have to buckle up for some tough encounters.
All New Pictos & Luminas In The Verso’s Drafts DLC
There’s a load of great new Pictos (and therefore new Luminas) in Clair Obscur’s free “Thank You” update, many of which are found in Verso’s Drafts, a completely new childlike area filled with tons of colorful candies and treats. Some of these Pictos will be essential additions to your favorite builds, with game-changing new effects like Frenzy’s successive skill damage buff and Consuming Attacks OP Burn buff to Base attacks.

Most of these Pictos are nearly unmissable during your exploration through Verso’s Drafts, while others will require defeating different enemies or parkouring across some tricky obstacle courses. Further, some Pictos will only be found once re-entering the Endless Tower and interacting with the new painting, such as defeating the Chromatic Lampmaster for the First Life Pictos.
Best Pictos & Luminas In The New Clair Obscur DLC
There’s a little bit of something for everyone when it comes to the new Pictos and Luminas in the free Verso’s Drafts DLC (aka the “Thank You” update), from the aptly named Trigger Happy, which is perfect for gunslinger builds, to the extremely useful AP Discount, decreasing the AP cost of ALL skills.
Further exciting Pictos include the counterpart to Clea’s Life, Clea’s Death, which gives allies a +25% damage buff after the character dies, which ostensibly could be stacked on at least two characters for a huge damage buff if you’re a fan of Auto-Death strategies. The possibilites are vast when it comes to builds for each character, with many of these Pictos synergizing well with new weapons released in the DLC.
Overall, you’ll have a lot of new Luminas and Pictos to start experimenting with from the new “Thank You” update content. Verso’s Drafts is an incredible new area that will keep Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 fans busy for a while, with a ton of secrets and goodies to uncover.
