The Titans Will Never Be the Same After DC’s Major Roster Shake-Up

2026 will usher in a brand-new era for the Titans as the team, alongside the rest of the DCU, enters the second act of DC All In. This next phase will see DC’s flagship titles ascend with bold new changes and storylines, following the conclusion of the publisher’s latest crisis event, DC K.O.

Following the finale of DC K.O. in March, DC’s Titans series will relaunch as New Titans #33, set to release on March 18, 2026. The relaunch also brings a creative team shift, with writer John Layman handing the reins to Tate Brombal, joined by artist Sami Basri.

However, the most significant change isn’t the new title or creative team, but a major roster overhaul featuring both familiar faces and new additions. DC’s official press release teases that New Titans will usher in “the next chapter for the next generation of DC Super Heroes.”

DC Launches Its Next Generation of Superheroes in NEW TITANS

New Titans #33 Releases March 18, 2026

Fans can find the official synopsis for the New Titans #33 below:

After helping save the world from yet another world-ending event, the Titans have earned some much-deserved rest. Back in Titans Tower, they’re glad to be reunited again…But it almost feels too good to be true. Are these Titans who they claim to be? And if they can’t trust each other…can they even trust themselves? Tate Brombal and Sami Basri kick off a brand-new era for the next generation of superheroes!

In addition to the official synopsis, DC has also provided a sneak peek at various covers for the issue. Taurin Clarke’s main cover for New Titans #33 is particularly notable, as it teases the Titans’ new roster. While the current team is featured in the background, possible new recruits appear as “unlocked” characters, blacked out except for their chest insignias.

The cover suggests that Stephanie “Spoiler” Brown, Tara “Terra” Markov, Cassie “Wonder Girl” Sandsmark, and likely Conner “Superboy” Kent will be joining the Titans. However, the visual IDs for Cassie and Conner are tentative, as the blackout figures could represent other heroes from the Wonder and Super families. Either way, the Titans are about to receive much-needed new blood.

NEW TITANS #33 is available March 18, 2026, from DC Comics!
