Cyberpunk 2077 looks fantastic with the Ultra Cinematic v4 mod in tow. According to the creator, this is the most “advanced cinematic mod to date,” and is a “complete cinematic toolkit” designed to completely transform Cyberpunk 2077. Based on the footage they’d provided, I’d say they did. The most impressive element of this modding kit is the weather control system, featuring enhancements to precipitation.

What really stands out to me is how visual-oriented this edition is, transforming multiple elements of the game into something else entirely. The preset cinematic moods option sounds like a feature that could go well with just about any AAA game.
Described as being for “cinematic gameplay creators,” “screenshot artists,” and “machinima editors first and foremost, visuals, not gameplay, are at the forefront of this mod. If you’re looking for something that adds more nuance and supports gameplay additions specifically, you may want to look elsewhere.
There is a catch with this modding package, too. This is a paid mod from GPC-Surgeon’s Patreon. Given how polarizing the concept of paid mods is, some people might not partake. But the footage serves as a reminder of just how far modders are known to push games, even those that already look like top-tier visual experiences.

The creator notes that “everything is designed to work together,” but this is going to put a huge burden on your PC. Cyberpunk 2077 can already be a demanding game, so putting the pedal to the metal might give a little jolt to your machine. Just be sure it can handily take on Cyberpunk 2077 first.
Years after the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077, the game is riding high on many quality-of-life patches and big fixes delivered in updates, as well as all the aforementioned efforts of the modding community. Now, fans are mostly satisfied and are looking forward to whatever the series brings in the future.
