Netflix has announced that Emily in Paris will be returning with season 6 after a record-high rating on Rotten Tomatoes for season 5, with an impressive 76%. Season 5 amassed 26.8M views globally on Netflix in just 11 days and reached the top 10 in 91 countries and #1 in 24 (including France, Italy, Brazil, and Germany).
The new season will follow Emily (played by Lily Collins) tackling her new dynamics between old flames and best friends, but will her relationships crumble or flourish as she returns to Paris single, leaving a broken-hearted Marcello (played by Eugenio Franceschini) behind and choosing herself. But an old flame has other plans as Gabriel (played by Lucas Bravo) invites Emily on a yacht in Greece.
Emily’s best friend Mindy (played by Ashley Park) is also facing turmoil as she accepted Nico’s (played by Paul Forman) proposal but still has feelings for her best friend’s ex, Alfie (played by Lucien Laviscount).
