Harry Styles is finally back with a fourth studio album titled Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. The star started hinting via billboards and a cryptic YouTube video that he was ready to start releasing music again.
However, on January 15th, the One Direction singer officially announced his new album will drop on March 6th. To say fans are excited is an understatement, but here are a few reasons his comeback is so hot.
Harry’s Got New Hair
Harry Styles is back with new music and new hair, and no, I’m not talking about those hair transplant rumors. When the singer left the spotlight for a few years, he also left his messy, loose hair behind. He debuted the buzz cut heard around the world at the end of 2023, but in paparazzi shots since, he’s let his hair grow a little.
Still, he’s keeping his hair shorter these days, somewhat like a crew cut, and even shows it off on his new album cover. As Taylor Swift has taught us, there’s no better way to start a new era than with a fresh hairstyle.
Men Are Back In Music
In the last few years, the music industry has had us all wondering, where did all the men go? Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Charli XCX, and more have made the last few years in music feel like a true femininomenon.
It has been incredible to watch women run the show after decades of fighting their way to the top. However, that doesn’t mean fans don’t absolutely miss their favorite male pop stars.
Styles is arguably the most missed of all, as fans have been begging for a new album since Love On Tour ended in 2023. With Styles back, men are becoming a part of the conversation again.
Harry’s Taking Us To The Disco
According to Harry Styles’ album title, this record is going to take fans to the disco, at least occasionally. When Styles first debuted his solo career, he strayed from the bubblegum pop songs he made with One Direction. Instead, he went in a more rock direction, becoming close friends with Fleetwood Mac lead Stevie Nicks.
However, in his later albums, he leaned more into pop, especially with Harry’s House hits like “Music for a Sushi Restaurant” and “Late Night Talking.” It seems like he’s ready for the pop scene once again.
Along with the title, the singer included a disco ball on his album cover, emphasizing how that may be the genre he’s taking on this time. Whatever Harry Styles has in store, we’re happy to see him back in action.
