Xbox Game Pass has added several new titles this month, but the service will also be losing seven games when January finally comes to an end. That’s a pretty solid chunk of games leaving, so you may want to check some of these out before they’re gone. You only have about two more weeks left to play them with Game Pass.
It’s not unusual for Xbox Game Pass to lose games. After all, it happens every single month. But seven is a pretty noticeable number, and these titles run the gamut from single-player action games to family-friendly platformers. As confirmed over on PureXbox, the games will all be leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 31, 2026.
Xbox Game Pass Is Losing These Seven Games
If you’ve been waiting around to play games like PAW Patrol World or Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, then this is your last chance to play them without buying them. The following seven games are all leaving Xbox Game Pass at the end of January:
- Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector
- Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap
- Cataclismo
- Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders
- PAW Patrol World
- Starbound
- Shady Part Of Me
With the exception of Cataclismo, these games are all available for Console, PC, and Cloud gaming. Cataclismo is only on PC. All of these games have gone on sale recently (and some regularly) so you can find them discounted, even after they leave Game Pass. However, if you want to check them out at no additional cost with your Game Pass subscription, then you’ll want to act fast.
Don’t Miss Out On These Games!
Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is the one I’d most recommend here. Although the first Citizen Sleeper game was good, I thought the sequel really outshined it overall. If you’re a fan of sci-fi and cyberpunk, then it’s definitely worth playing before it leaves Game Pass this month.
Chucklefish’s Starbound is another gem. You’ll need to repair your damaged spaceship and explore planets in a sandbox environment. Everything comes in a cute pixelated art style too. Although it got good reviews at launch, I haven’t heard many people talking about it since, so give it a try.
The genre variety here is pretty incredible, so no matter what you’re into, there’s something you’d probably enjoy that’s leaving Game Pass in about two weeks. If you currently have a subscription and are even marginally interested in any of these seven games, then be sure to try them out before they leave Xbox Game Pass on January 31.
