AMC has provided a teaser trailer and release information for the upcoming Interview with the Vampire spinoff, Anne Rice’s Talamasca. AMC continues to expand its Immortal Universe, a series of fantasy/horror shows inspired by the works of the late great Anne Rice. Talamasca season 1 will be the next installment, releasing later this year.
Screen Rant has been in attendance at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, where AMC shared panels and interviews with the cast and creators of Talamasca. Among the most important of the new insights and information provided is that the new series will premiere on Sunday, October 26, 2025, just a few days before Halloween.
AMC also unveiled the first trailer for Talamasca, which can be seen below. This includes a surprise appearance from actor Eric Bogosian, who plays journalist Daniel Molloy in Interview with the Vampire. Bogosian will guest star in the new series, providing connective tissue between the projects.
What Anne Rice’s Talamasca’s New Reveal Means
Talamasca Is The Bridge Between The Immortal Universe’s Shows
Anne Rice’s Talamasca is the third TV series in the Immortal Universe, following Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches. The two shows so far have been part of the same franchise, but the primary connection between them has been the existence of the organization called the Talamasca.
AMC is evidently building on the shared universe aspect of these titles.
The Talamasca trailer makes a point to suggest that the main character will have to keep tabs on “vampires and witches,” suggesting that this series will draw elements from both current shows, establishing more crossover elements than they’ve had before. AMC is evidently building on the shared universe aspect of these titles.
