Arcane is one of the best Netflix original shows, and you don’t need a lot of time to finish it. A stunning video-game adaptation, Arcane is a masterpiece from start to finish and has raised the stakes for shows in the genre. While there have been memorable TV shows released on Netflix in the past decade, Arcane is easily one of the best.
The League of Legends series takes the beloved characters from the video game and gives them compelling backstories and sets them in a world with an interesting magical system. Because of its multilayered premise and world-building, Arcane is a type of show that is easy to watch in one sitting or over a few days.
You Can Watch All Of Arcane In Just 12 Hours
Arcane Has Two Seasons With A Total Of 18 Episodes
Premiering in 2021, Arcane helped propel the fantasy genre and video game adaptations forward. The beautifully animated series only has two seasons with a total of 18 episodes, which run between 39 to 50 minutes, so the whole show can be watched in just 12 hours. Although Arcane ended with season 2, the series tells a complete story that concludes with the resolution of Jinx and Vi’s relationship.

Netflix’s best animated series has captured the attention of all kinds of fans, and I have to agree with the praise, as the show is unforgettable.
Jinx and Vi’s complex dynamic and the battle between Zaun and Piltover are so well-crafted that the minutes tick by quickly. The Witcher’s Henry Cavill, one of the many people who enjoyed Arcane, was so engrossed in the fantasy TV show to the point where he couldn’t stop watching it, which is a testament to how bingeable and enjoyable the Netflix original series is.

Arcane Has Several Great Things Going For It
There is no shortage of great series on Netflix. Arcane, however, is in a league of its own and has earned its place as not only one of the best Netflix original series but as a remarkable fantasy TV show that may have changed the genre forever.
At a time when the place of animation in the industry is being questioned amid so many live-action remakes, Arcane was a welcome surprise. I hope it inspires similar shows the same way Into the Spider-Verse set the bar high for 3D-animated movies.
Arcane has great animation and incredible voice actors. And while it takes place in a very fantastic world, it remains grounded because it focuses on its characters while including the action that fans of the League of Legends video game enjoyed.
Arcane Will Go Down In History As An Animated Masterpiece
Arcane Is Beloved By Both Audiences And Critics
With the amount of animated TV shows available, finding one that isn’t only well put together but also has a beautifully written story is no easy task. Arcane, however, has both. Fortiche, the French studio behind Arcane‘s animation, did a great job of capturing the emotions and actions of each of the show’s characters, while also building an extremely stunning world.

Although animated TV shows like Castlevania, Love, Death, & Robots, and Blue Eye Samurai are visually appealing and have great world-building, there’s nothing quite like Arcane. The Netflix animated series has a rich world with nuanced characters like Ekko and Jayce, who evolve during the show’s run. As a fan of Arcane, the only complaint I have is that it only has two seasons.
