SoundCloud unveils new features for creators using its “All-in-One” Artist Subscription, like a dedicated support button on artist pages.
SoundCloud has announced the launch of new features in its artist subscription offering to better provide creators with “every tool they need to distribute, monetize, and grow their audience, in one place.” New features include a dedicated support button on artist pages, and the elimination of SoundCloud’s revenue share starting at the end of November—enabling artists to keep 100% of their royalties.
The platform’s new subscription model is available starting today, October 30. Existing Artist and Artist Pro subscribers will automatically gain access to all the new features with this update, while new creators can join today.
“SoundCloud has always been about putting artists first,” said Eliah Seton, SoundCloud CEO. “With this launch, we’re taking that mission further by giving artists a truly all-in-one subscription, including distribution without detours, community without barriers, and monetization without compromise, including direct support from their fans.”
Artists have had to stitch together a patchwork of tools across platforms and services to distribute music, engage with their fans, and earn money—often at the expense of their independence. SoundCloud’s new subscription aims to change that by bringing everything under one plan so creators can spend less time managing logistics.
With the launch of SoundCloud’s All-in-One Subscription, artists now have access to:
- 100% Distribution Royalties: Beginning at the end of November, SoundCloud will eliminate its distribution revenue share, so artists can keep 100% of their royalties starting with the next payout cycle.
- Fan Support (without fees in the U.S.): Direct fan-to-artist support built right into artist profiles with a dedicated button, with zero commission from SoundCloud.
- On-Demand Vinyl Shipping to 90 Countries: Tracks can be turned into vinyl without leaving SoundCloud, without requiring bulk orders or additional upfront costs.
- Artist Storefronts: Artists can showcase their off-platform purchase options on SoundCloud directly alongside their music.
- Artist Merch: Showcase merch directly alongside music, with all profit going to the artist.
“SoundCloud let me go from uploading ideas in my room to running my own operation,” said artist DXRKNOVA. “I can release music, talk to fans, and turn their support into real movement. It’s wild that I can handle everything from releases to merch without leaving the platform.”
SoundCloud says it will continue expanding ways for artists to earn more and own more of their own art through the platform. The new update furthers the company’s mission to help artists share their music and grow their careers while getting rewarded for their work.
