The Princess of Wales does this parenting job more than William

The Prince of Wales has spoken about his life at home with Kate
and their three children and revealed there’s one parenting duty
that his wife ends up doing more.

While in Brazil for his official visit, which saw him present
the Earthshot Prize and represent King Charles III at the COP30
Heads of State meeting in Belem, William sat down for a chat with
TV presenter, Luciano Huck.

And the heir to the throne revealed that he and Kate spend a lot
of their time doing things that are familiar to many parents –
including the school run.

William said ”school run most days, I mean Catherine and I share
it”. However, he had to confess that his wife is at the school
gates more, saying ”but she probably does the bulk of it.”

The couple’s three children all attend Lambrook Preparatory
School, close to their new home at Forest Lodge on the Windsor
Estate.

Prince George, now 12, Princess Charlotte, 10 and 7 year old
Prince Louis all started there in 2022, beginning classes the day
before the death of their great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth
II.

The school and its proximity to their well protected home offers
the children and their parents a degree of privacy that all
cherish.

In the interview, William also revealed that three children
means a busy life away from royal duties. He said that they ferry
their children to play dates and sports events.

And there were no surprises when the outdoors loving Prince said
that he really enjoys getting out into the garden to play with his
three children.

However, William also revealed that he and Kate share the
pitfalls of modern parenting, among them the ongoing question of if
or when to allow their children to have phones of their own.

He said that none of them have their own devices yet but that
the time is approaching when the couple might consider one for
Prince George.

The second in line to the throne is set to move from Lambrook to
secondary school in July and William said that might just be the
moment that he and Kate allow George to have his own phone.

The Prince talked about how phones can help communication but he
is wary of the huge amount of information, a lot of inappropriate
for children, available online.

Prince William was in Brazil for almost a week as he carried out
engagements linked to the environment and presented the Earthshot
Prize.

He also took part in the top level COP30 Heads of State meeting,
representing King Charles.

On his return, he was at the Cenotaph to take part in the Act of
Remembrance where he laid a wreath.

William missed the annual Festival of Remembrance but the
Princess of Wales did attend with George at her side for the very
first time.
