Actor Rohman Shawl, Sushmita Sen‘s ex-boyfriend, recently celebrated seven years of friendship by sharing a heartfelt post on Instagram with the actress. In the caption, Rohman expressed his love for Sushmita, saying that they are not strangers, not lovers, but far softer and rarer. He also shared that the actress was a safe haven and continues to be so even after their breakup. Despite this, many trolled the actor and accused him of living in Sushmita’s shadow and of having been “friend-zoned” by her. Now, Rohman has responded to the trolls.

On Rohman’s 7th anniversary post on Instagram, one of the users commented, Friend-zoned you are! Just get out of it and own yourself! Individually you can do more than living just as a shadow of Ms Universe!’ To that, Rohman gracefully replied, ‘Being associated with someone remarkable doesn’t diminish me; it reflects the kind of people I choose to walk beside. And my love, galaxies don’t cast shadows—they shine together!! Much love.’
What picture did Rohman share?
Rohman shared a black-and-white picture of him holding Sushmita close on Monday, where the actress’s face was not shown, with matching outfits. With the picture, he wrote a heartfelt message to mark the seventh anniversary, showing gratitude for the love they shared and the quiet friendship that remains.
Sushmita met Rohman after she accidentally clicked on his direct messages on Instagram. Soon, the two began dating in 2018 and ended their relationship in 2021. The actress announced their breakup on Instagram and wrote, ‘We began as friends, we remain friends!!! The relationship was long over… the love remains!’
Rohman has a good bond with Sushmita and is even spotted together at public events. He also spent time with Sushmita’s daughters, Renee and Alisah.
