She added that when she expressed her feelings in front of him, he told her, “You’re like a sister to me.” This incident has now become a big news. Now, she has issued an explanation about the comments she made on Kamal Haasan. She even slammed the media for twisting her words and making spicy news about it. She took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote, “I got engaged at the age of 16 and married at the age of 18. I had no connection with the world of cinema until I was 42. I was just an ordinary fan, looking at the stars with childlike wonder. I was truly star-struck when I met a famous actor in person at the age of 45. The moment he looked at me and said, ‘You’re like a sister to me,’ became a laughing stock among my friends. This is what I shared as a joke on ‘Cook with Clown.’ It’s not right to misunderstand it and turn it into news.” This is a big story in entertainment news.

She further added that it was just a joke and misinterpreting it was unfair and uncivilised. She also said that this is an example of how rehashing and spreading things in the media can go wrong.
