A social media user named Ramya Mohan made several allegations of casting couch and sexual abuse against Vijay Sethupathi through a post on X (formerly known as Twitter). In no time, the post went viral and the actor made it to the headlines. In the viral post, Ramya Mohan also spoke about drugs consumption and sexual exploitation being common in Kollywood. Now, reports about the viral account being deleted have made way the news circuit.
Ramya Mohan’s account gets deleted?
After Ramya Mohan’s post went viral, it also got deleted from Twitter. The post is no more available on social media. Now, reportedly, her account has also been deleted from the social media platform. When tried to search Ramya Mohan’s account on X, it appears, “This account doesn’t exist. Try searching for another.” It is unclear whether Ramya Mohan deleted her account or it was suspended by by the platform after the shocking post.
Vijay Sethupathi DENIES casting couch allegations
Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi has categorically denied all the allegation levelled against him. He has said that his family is upset but he isn’t. He said that the woman wanted publicity by making such claims. In a conversation with Subhash K Jha, Vijay Sethupathi said that such filthy accusations cannot upset him. “This woman is obviously doing it to be noticed. She has her few minutes of fame, let her enjoy it.,” he said. Further, he also shared that he had lodged a complaint with cybercrime. He also raised suspicious over the timing of the accusations as his latest release is performing well at the box office. “We’ve complained to cybercrime. I’ve faced all kinds of whispering campaigns for seven years. Such targeting has not affected me so far. It never will,” he was quoted saying.
Vijay Sethupathi’s latest movie
Currently, his movie Thalaivan Thalaivii is performing well at the box office. The film released on July 25. It is a romantic comedy drama that stars Nithya Menen as the female lead. The Tamil language drama is directed by Pandiraj.
