Popular South actress Hansika Motwani has been grabbing attention for her personal life. If reports are to be believed, the actress is reportedly getting a separation from her husband, Sohael Khaturiya. This piece of news has taken over social media after she deleted his photos from her Instagram handle. Yes, you read that right!
Hansika Motwani confirms the separation news?
Actress Hansika walked down the aisle with Mumbai-based businessman Sohael Khaturiya in a grand wedding at Jaipur’s Mundota Fort and Palace in December 2022. The actress’s wedding was turned into a docu-series titled Love Shaadi Drama on JioCinema, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into her fans’ wedding.
Hansika and Sohael’s wedding raised eyebrows after it was revealed that he was previously married to Rinky Bajaj, who was Hansika’s close friend, as per reports. Hansika was slammed and even labelled ‘home breaker’ by neyixens. Three years after their wedding, the split news of Hansika and Sohael has intensified. In July 2025, The Hindustan Times reported that Hansika and Sohael were living separately. As per reports, Hansika was residing with her mother, while Sohael was with his parents. Sohael earlier said that the reports were not true, but his statement did not convince Neyiens. Now, Hansika has deleted their pictures from her feed, and Sohael has not posted anything since 2023. Well, Hansika and her team have not commented on the news as of now. Sohael, has made his Instagram account private amid the divorce speculation, but the two seem to be following each other.
Hansika on the sets of Love Shaadi Drama spoke about getting criticized for stealing her bestie’s husband and said, “Just because I knew the person at that time doesn’t mean it was my fault. I have nothing to do with this. Because I am a public figure, it was very easy for people to point at me and make me the villain. This was a price I pay for being a celebrity.”
