Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai TV serial has been one of the longest running shows. It has witnessed major leaps with many stars gaining popularity by being the leads. Currently, Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit are the leads of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. They essay the roles of Abhira and Armaan respectively. The last few episodes have been highly dramatic. Armaan has returned to Udaipur with daughter Maira. Abhira now knows that Maira is her daughter. Now, Abhira is doing her best to reconnect with her daughter. Armaan has had the change of heart and now wants Armaan and Maira to bond.

In the new promo of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see Abhira buying a new car for Maira. She finds a fancy red car as daughter Maira asked her too. Armaan considers it to be a bad decision. He says that she shouldn’t have made such massive purchase. Abhira hits back saying that her only priority is to make her daughter Maira happy. She says that she can do anything to make her daughter happy. Armaan retorts saying that Maira is a kid and she will demand anything but that does not mean that her every wish is fulfilled. Abhira again slams Armaan saying that he still believes that she is a bad mother. Armaan adds that Abhira is the best mother but the expensive purchase is not best for Maira.
The scene has not gone down well with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fans. On social media, fans are slamming makers and writers for trying to ‘whitewash’ Armaan’s character. Fans are not even happy with Abhira self-doubting at every moment.
