Bobby Deol is pleased with how well the audience responded to Ahaan Panday’s Saiyaara. The Animal actor talked on the success of Mohit Suri’s film in a recent interview, saying it was very personal to him. Deol told Faridoon Shahryar that he adored Saiyaara and remembered Ahaan Panday from his childhood. He said, “I loved Saiyaara. I was so happy because Ahaan grew up right in front of me. I remember the days when he was little, wearing a Spider-Man outfit, always hitting a punching bag… He’s been energetic since childhood.”

According to Bobby Deol, Ahaan Panday’s debut was like the debut of his own child. “Ahaan waited for eight years almost for Saiyaara to be released. Even how this film came to him is an amazing story. I was really happy. It felt like my own child’s film had been released, and it became such a big hit. It felt so nice,” he added.
Bobby Deol said he got emotional
Deol even shared that he got emotional while watching the movie and stated, “I cried so much while watching that film; it’s such an emotional story. Mohit Suri (director) has done such a great job. Saiyaara is a director’s film, but he got great actors to play the characters. Both Ahaan and Aneet were so interesting to watch. The way Mohit weaved the screenplay, built the story, the music… everything aligned perfectly, and such things happen very rarely.”
