Katie Price has alleged that her daughter Princess Andre had therapy after “losing weight”, and claims she’ll “get the blame” for it.
Speaking on her Katie Price Show podcast, the 47-year-old former glamour model opened up about her daughter’s wellbeing and how she feels unfairly targeted when it comes to public opinion.

‘I know Pete got her therapy’
Commenting on ex Peter Andre’s parenting, Katie said: “I know that Pete got her therapy because she was losing weight or something. But of course I’ll get the blame for that because I always do.”
Katie stressed that Princess’ therapy was not linked to her split from ex-husband Kieran Hayler, despite ongoing speculation.
“Yeah, it was turbulence between me and Kieran. But Princess didn’t have therapy because of me and Kieran,” she explained.
The mum-of-five said Princess has had therapy at different points in her life, including after a 2018 carjacking in South Africa, but insists she wasn’t behind the decision to arrange it.
“When she had therapy before, that was because Emily and Pete were pushing her to have therapy. Nothing to do with me splitting up with Kieran,” Katie continued.
In 2016, Peter Andre himself addressed concerns about his daughter’s weight during an appearance on Loose Women.
“I weigh them, because I want them to put on weight,” he admitted, referring to his children, Princess and Junior. “If I see my kids not eating a lot, I get concerned. My daughter’s friend at school thought she was overweight, but she was very thin. So it concerns me. It’s my way of trying to boost them up.”

Tension between Katie Price and Peter Andre
The revelation comes amid fresh tension between Katie and her ex-husband, with whom she shares Princess and Junior.
Princess recently signed with her dad Peter Andre’s management company, CAN Group.
However, Katie claims she was not consulted about the decision and claimed that the company “thinks she’s trash” after cutting ties with her following her split from Peter in 2009.
Katie and Peter’s marriage lasted only four years, but their post-divorce relationship has often been rocky. Disputes over management, media appearances and parenting decisions have kept tensions simmering.
Just last month, Katie accused Peter’s management company of stopping her from attending Princess’ 18th birthday party, calling the decision “pathetic” and “sad.”
Katie shuts down rumours of rift with Princess
Meanwhile, recent reports suggested Katie and Princess were in the middle of a rift after the reality star was allegedly “banned” from her daughter’s new reality TV show. However, Katie was quick to dismiss those claims on her podcast.
“Me and Princess have never, ever, ever had an argument to this day, or a disagreement. We get on like best friends, mother and daughter,” she insisted.
She did, however, criticise Peter and his wife Emily for their role in the TV project. “Whatever happens, it’s always going to be my fault,” Katie said. “I’m always going to be the baddie. But just remember, we’ve got proof of everything.”
