Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Kumarr Modi recently reunited with Disha Vakani aka Daya ben for Raksha Bandhan.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah recently completed 17 years. The show has been running successfully since 2008. The show has been in the new for a long time. The team recently had grand celebrations as they completed 17 years. They also held a press conference and a cake-cutting ceremony. Asit Kumarr Modi invited the parents of all their actors to cut the cake showing respect towards the elders. They all spoke about the show and everyone even remembered Disha Vakani aka Daya ben. Everyone has been missing her on the sets especially Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal and Mayur Vakani who plays Sunderlal. Mayur is Disha’s real brother too.
Disha Vakani has been away from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah since 2017. She had taken a pregnancy break but never returned. Everyone has been asking producer Asit Kumarr Modi about her return and he has said it many times that he is trying hard to get her back. However, he has also started the search for a new Daya ben. But, he also mentioned that he will be more happy if Disha returns.
Asit Kumarr Modi and Disha Vakani reunite
Fans have been waiting for her to return soon as Daya ben’s character has been the most favourite. Now, during Raksha Bandhan, Asit Kumarr Modi and Disha Vakani reunited. They celebrated Rakhi together. Disha tied rakhi to him and his wife.
The producer shared a video of their celebrations on Instagram. Along with the video, he wrote a beautiful caption in Hindi. His caption read, “Some relationships make destiny… Not blood, it is relation of heart! #dishavakani Not just our ‘Daya Bhabhi’, but my sister. For years sharing laughter, memories and affinity, this relationship has gone far beyond the screen. As soon as he shared this, fans starting hoping that Disha will now return as Daya ben. They want the producer to convince her soon. One of the users wrote, “She looks so sweet as always vapis ane ke liye bola ki nahi.. just say her so many people miss her a lot just say her baki aye ki na aye wonki marji.” Another wrote, “Daya bhabhi jaldi aao Gokul dham me caam back.”
