Rajinikanth‘s most-awaited movie Coolie is set to release on August 14. The buzz around the movie has amplified as it is clashing with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR‘s power-packed action drama – War 2. Both the films have been made on massive budget and hold a great star power. Thus, the box office game is also very interesting. Rajinikanth’s Coolie to mint record breaking numbers on day 1?
Going by the latest reports, it seems that Rajinikanth’s Coolie is set to take a thunderous start at the box office. As reported by Sacnilk.com, the movie has already made Rs 17.73 crore with its India gross collection through advance ticket sales. With blocked seats, the number goes up to Rs 24.31 crore. This is huge as the numbers will only go higher as there are two more days for the film to release. Around 811046 tickets have been sold of Tamil version of Coolie. 15844 tickets have been sold of the Hindi version so far. A total of 836886 tickets of Coolie have been sold as we write this story. It looks like Coolie is on the path of creating history by crossing the Rs 50 crore mark with just its advance ticket booking sales.
War 2 advance ticket booking report
Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani’s movie is also aiming to take a decent start at the box office. As per a report, the movie has made around Rs 4.1 crore India gross collection with the ticket sales. With blocked seats, the number has gone upto Rs 8.54 crore. It is anticipated that the film will cross the mark of Rs 10 crore with advance ticket sales. But it does appear that the craze for Coolie is currently overpowering War 2 in terms of box office business. Jr NTR is marking his Bollywood debut with this film and it is anticipated that his presence will help War 2 to find decent audience down South. Let’s wait and watch.
