Saiyaara movie starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda released in July and became a huge success. The film launched Ahaan Panday and it was the first for Aneet Padda as a lead actress. The movie received good reviews and even the stars received positive reactions. They received a lot of appreciation and accolades for beautifully portraying all the emotions in the musical romantic drama. With appreciation, an award has also come their way. Ahaan and Aneet have won their first award for Saiyaara – IMDb Breakout Star Awards.
Ahaan Panday reacts to the big win
Post the release of Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda found enormous fame coming their way. The stars ranked on number one spot on IMDb’s Most Popular Celebrities list in consecutive weeks. They even found space in Top 100 Most Popular Celebrities list. With this, they were recently honoured with ‘Breakout Star’ STARmeter Award. Both the stars are of course elated with all the love coming their way. Ahaan Panday reacted to the big win and said that it is special as it has come directly from the audience. He mentioned that he used to check IMDb scouring as a child and to find a place on the list is like a dream. He also thanked Aditya Chopra and Mohit Suri for trusting him. Ahaan Panday added that he would now want to focus on his journey ahead. “I’m overwhelmed to have received this unanimous love from people, it still shocks me to this day, and honestly, I think the only way to go forward is keep my head low and keep working,” he said.
Aneet Padda is delighted
Aneet Padda also echoed the same sentiments. She said that she is delighted to know that her performance resonated with the audience. She dedicated her award to the cast and crew of the team and also said, “It’s been an absolute joy to share the screen and this journey with him. It is truly precious when people believe in your skills and give you that one chance you need.”
