Thama teaser starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui has left fans intrigued. Watch it here.
After the stupendous success of movies like Stree 2, Dinesh Vijain‘s production house is back with yet another instalment in Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe. It is titled as Thama and stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and others. The film is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. After the surprise and mysterious poster, now the teaser of Thama has been unveiled by the production house. And it is as interesting as expected!
The teaser begins with the voiceover of Ayushmann Khurrana. He asks, “Will you be able to live without me for 100 years?” Rashmika Mandanna in response states that “Not even for a moment”. The makers promise a bloody love story as it appears dark, edgy and interesting. While Ayushmann and Rashmika Mandanna’s looks are menacing adding to the curiosity, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s look has left the fans intrigued. The teaser also gives glimpses of other key characters in the movie starring Paresh Rawal and many others. Malaika Arora will be seen in a special dance number. The story of Thama reportedly revolves around a historian who traces vampirism in Indian Folklore.
Maddock Films has shared the teaser video of Thama with the caption, “Na darr kabhi itna shaktishaali tha, aur na pyaar kabhi itna BLOODY! Brace yourself this Diwali to witness the first love story in the Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe. Step into the World of Thama, a cinematic experience unlike anything you’ve seen before, storming into cinemas worldwide.” It is also stated to be the first ever love story in the universe.

Thama is all set to release during Diwali 2025. The horror-comedy universe made by Maddock Films started with Stree. The other films like Bhediya and Munjya added to the universe making it a successful franchise. Stree 2 starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao took the box office by storm and turned out to be one of the highest grossing movies on 2024.
