Bigg Boss 19 update: The makers of Bigg Boss 19 have finally revealed a peek of the first confirmed participant, which has increased the level of interest around the show. Strategic disclosures are being used by the team behind the popular reality show to build anticipation and keep viewers interested ahead of the major launch. In a promotional video that JioHotstar posted on August 22, Salman Khan challenged fans to get 50,000 likes. What’s the prize? The first competitor is seen in a teaser video. The video quickly reached the milestone, and Salman delivered on his promise, revealing the much-anticipated glance.
Who is the first contestant of Bigg Boss 19?
In the second video shared on Instagram, Salman is seen saying: “Acha, itni jaldi hai jaane ki contestants kon honge. Itni jaldi, itne saare likes, chalo ek contestant ko reveal kar hi deta hu.”
He is followed by a participant seen from behind making trendy dance moves while wearing a bright red jacket. Because the teaser deftly omits the participant’s face, viewers are left wanting to figure out who the mystery participant is.
Fans convinced Awez Darbar enters BB 19
The internet went into overdrive after watching the short clip. The comment section was soon overflowing with predictions from fans, many of whom were certain that the participant was none other than well-known social media personality and choreographer Awez Darbar. It has long been speculated that Darbar, who is well-known for his dancing videos and enormous fan base, was contacted for Bigg Boss. Fans think he’s finally said yes this season.
Is influencer Nagma Mirajkar joining too?
Rumours also indicate that influencer Nagma Mirajkar would be joining the Bigg Boss 19 house, which would increase the hype. The producers haven’t yet confirmed her involvement yet, though.
Bigg Boss 19 is scheduled to premiere on August 24, 2025. JioHotstar will prioritise digital viewers by streaming the episodes from 9 PM, while Colors TV will begin airing the show at 10:30 PM, a 90-minute delay intended to highlight the over-the-top distribution.
