Popular director Sanjay Leela Bhansali faces FIR in Bikaner over production dispute for upcoming film Love & War. Read on to know the entire matter.
An FIR has been registered against famous film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and two members of his team in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The case is related to his upcoming film Love and War. According to police sources and news agency PTI, a person has accused Bhansali and his team of fraud, misbehavior and betrayal. The FIR was registered at Bichwal police station in Bikaner after the complainant approached the court.

Complainant Prateek Raj Mathur has claimed that he was given the responsibility of line producer for the film Love and War. He said that he was officially given a contract by the film team, but later it was canceled without any reason. Apart from this, he alleged that he made all the necessary arrangements for the shooting of the film and also coordinated with government departments. But when he reached the hotel to meet Bhansali and his team, he was mistreated and removed from the project. Police officer Vishal Jangid said that a case has been registered against Bhansali, Arvind Gill and Utkarsh Bali under sections like fraud, criminal conspiracy and threatening.
Bichwal police station SHO Govind Singh Charan is investigating the whole matter. It is clearly stated in the FIR that Bhansali and his team had given responsibility to Prateek Raj Mathur by making him the line producer, but did not pay him for the work and suddenly kicked him out of the project. The complainant says that no account was paid for the preparations he made for the shooting of the film. After the court order, the police have registered a case and started an investigation. Now it remains to be seen in which direction the further legal process goes.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Love and War is being described as a grand saga. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the lead roles in this film. According to the story, Ranbir and Vicky are playing the role of Indian Air Force pilots. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on 20 March 2026.
