Actor Ronit Roy who played the role of Mihir in Ektaa Kapoor’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi show recently made a big revelation about the upcoming show.
Popular television star Ronit Roy who has managed to woo audiences with his charming aura has been keeping viewers hooked with his show Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. He played the role of Mihir in the iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu and recently reacted to season 2 going on-air. The actor left a mark on the viewers with his exceptional performance as Mihir and his chemistry with Smriti Irani aka Tulsi won hearts.
Ronit Roy makes BIG revelation
Ronit said that he is happy that the makers of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi makers to bring back the iconic show. He said that unfortunately, it didn’t work out for him. Ronit further continued by saying that Kyunki is a show that has been very close to his heart and he worked in it for eight years. He even wished the makers and all the cast and crew, very best. He said that he would be looking forward to watching it.
Ronit also asked if he would take up a long-form show on TV and he said that he is not averse to doing a long show or being on television for a longer time. He also mentioned that there is still much to be desired on television and he started 25 years ago and now the world has changed. He further continued saying that some things need to be fixed regarding television, so once that happens he will likely be back. He also said that till then he is happy where he is now.
He even gave his opinion on what has changed in TV in two decades. He said that he does not really know and has been a short outing for him. He also said that he started doing mainstream television in the year 2000 and now everyone is in 2025. Ronit said that there is much to be desired.
Ektaa Kapoor’s iconic television soap, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is all set to mark its 25 glorious years with a new season and fans are eagerly waiting for the show. The show will go on-air from July 3, 2025 and as per reports Smriti Irani will reprise her role as Tulsi Virani. OG stars like Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, and Sandeep Baswana have been roped in to play their parts. Reportedly, the Sesoan 2 will have exactly 150 episodes.
