Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par has been directed by Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par and the superstar has made his comeback on the big screens after three years. Dhanush and Nagarjuna-starrer Kuberaa’s worldwide collection is nearing Rs 100 crore in opening week. Here’s which film is leading at the box office collection race.

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is currently seen basking in the success of his recently released film Sitaare Zameen Par which is directed by RS Prasanna. The film has managed to cross the Rs 60 crore mark in four days at the domestic box office. On Monday the film dropped to single digits for the first time after its fourth day of release. The film raised expectations in its debut weekend and earned Rs 8.5 crore which is lower than its opening day collection of Rs 10.7 crore As per reports, Sitaare Zameen Par earned Rs 20.2 crore on Saturday, and Rs 27.25 crore on Sunday.

Aamir’s starrer crossed the Rs 50 crore mark in three days and faced a significant drop on Monday. The film has managed to breach the lifetime domestic box office collection of Aamir’s last film, Laal Singh Chaddha. Sitaare Zameen Par will pass the Rs 100 crore mark this weekend. The film will also face competition from Vishal Furia’s mythological horror film Maa, starring Kajol. Sitaare Zameen Par is the official Hindi adaptation of the 2018 Spanish film Campeones and is the spiritual sequel to Aamir’s 2007 directorial debut Taare Zameen Par. Genelia D’Souza, Dolly Ahluwalia, and Brijendra Kala, and also launches 10 new actors in interesting roles. The film is produced by Aamir and Aparna Purohit under Aamir Khan Productions.

Talking about Dhanush and Nagarjuna’s recently released film, Kuberaa has managed to surpass the Rs 50 crore mark (nett) at the domestic box office in four days. The worldwide collection of the film is marching towards Rs 100 crore and on its first Monday, the film saw a dip in numbers. The film which was shot in Telugu and Tamil hit the big screens on June 20. The Telugu version is earning money, while the Tamil version is slowing down.

As per tracking website Sacnilk, the film surpassed Rs 55.10 crore nett at the domestic box office and it earned Rs 6.50 crore in India. As per reports, the Telugu version earned Rs 32.9 crore nett and the Tamil version collected Rs 13.65 crore nett in India. Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the film features Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Jim Sarbh and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. Dalip Tahil, Hareesh Peradi, K Bhagyaraj, Sayaji Shinde and Sunaina play supporting roles. The film is produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas and Amigos Creations. The music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
