BTS member V is always dragged into dating rumors, whether it be with BLACKPINK Jennie or the choreographer under The Black Label Leejung Lee. V and Leejung posted three dance videos on Instagram together just after V’s discharge from the military, and all of them went viral, with fans and dancers from all over the world recreating them. A short video clip circulated online showing V and Lee Jung exchanging a glance before quickly turning away at Tyler The Creator’s concert once they noticed the crowd watching. This sparked the rumors.
What did Leejung say about her connection with BTS V?
After the concert, people have been asking Leejung to clarify her relationship with V. She hasn’t spoken about it after the rumors, but after they participated in a dance trend together in June, Leejung spoke about her connection with BTS V. She said, “We’re connected through dance. He loves dance as much as I do, so we really connect on that level. Whenever we meet, there’s a great synergy. He’s someone I genuinely look up to/a true role model for me,” and added, “For me, dance is my profession, so of course I love it with all my heart. But he has to sing and do many other things that represent who he is, yet he still loves dance just as much. He’s truly humble, and seeing how hard he works, even harder than I do, makes me think, ‘I must never compromise with myself.'”

Korean netizens expressed their weariness over what they see as a repeated pattern, female celebrities or acquaintances getting dragged into controversy simply for being seen with V.
