South Indian actress Radhika Sarathkumar is going through a very difficult time these days. Her mother, Geetha Radha, passed away on Sunday night of September 21 at the age of 86. Geetha Radha had been battling age-related ailments for some time. Her death has deeply saddened her family and loved ones. Geetha Radha’s body was kept at Radhika Sarathkumar’s Poes Garden home in Chennai on Monday morning so that relatives and friends could pay their last respects.

Geeta Radha’s last rites were performed at the Besant Nagar crematorium in Chennai on Monday, September 22 at 4:30 p.m. Family, close relatives, friends, and film personalities came to pay their last respects. The occasion witnessed many emotional scenes. Radhika Sarathkumar broke down in tears while paying her last respects to her mother. Her sister, actress Nirosha, also lost her composure and broke down at the funeral. Several photos and videos have surfaced on social media, clearly reflecting Radhika’s grief.
Radhika Sarathkumar shared an emotional video on social media in memory of her mother. It included a compilation of special moments and old photos spent with her mother. Radhika shared a folded hands emoji along with the video. Several film personalities expressed their grief and condolences on the post. Radhika’s daughter, Rayne Midhun, also wrote a long and emotional note for her grandmother. She described her grandmother as a strong woman who single-handedly raised her six siblings and four children. She said, “A lifelong fighter, Ammama carried herself with strength and courage, and only let go when she knew her children and family were by her side. Where do I even begin? Do I start with how she single-handedly raised 6 siblings and 4 children with unshakable determination?”
Rayne described her grandmother as a true example of courage and struggle, saying she taught the family to always remain united, which was her last wish. She further wrote that Geeta Radha’s life was an example of courage and struggle. She was religious, generous, and a woman who bravely faced life’s ups and downs.
