Jyoti Threatens Self-Harm, Demands Justice

At one point, Jyoti threatened to consume poison if she did not receive justice. She told officers (translated): “I came here only because society asked me to. If I don’t get justice now, there is no hope. I will eat poison in the house and die. This is the last time I’m saying this. I am from a respectable family a good daughter and daughter-in-law. If I have to go to the police station, I will die here first. Enough is enough. Give me justice.”

The situation remains unfolding, with strong emotions on display and both legal and personal claims being aired publicly. No official statement from Pawan Singh or local police has been reported yet.
