Actor Vijay Deverakonda met with a car accident near Hyderabad three days after his engagement to actress Rashmika Mandanna. However, he narrowly escaped the mishap. The actor was travelling from Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh to Hyderabad, when a car hit his car from behind. According to reports, the other car involved didn’t stop and kept driving toward Hyderabad. Now the actor issued his first statement after the incident.

Taking to X, the Dear Comrade actor wrote, “All is well! Car took a hit, but we are all fine. Went and did a strength workout as well and just got back home. My head hurts but nothing a biryani and sleep will not fix. So biggest hugs and my love to all of you. Don’t let the news stress you.”
