What is the story of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms?
The story takes place approximately 100 years before the events of Game of Thrones and approximately 100 years after the events of House of the Dragon. The show will depict how the pair of Duncan and Egg arrive at a tournament, where they meet several members of the Targaryen family—including Prince Aerion Targaryen, Prince Baelor Targaryen, and Prince Maekar Targaryen. The series is set in the same mysterious world of Westeros, where power, conflict, and bloodshed always go hand in hand.
According to the official synopsis, “A century before the events of ‘Game of Thrones,’ two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naive but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends. This thrilling story will once again bring viewers back to the world of Game of Thrones.
