Shilpa Shetty has been making headlines recently because of her Karwa Chauth look. The actress looked extremely stunning and gorgeous in her apparel. But more than just her stylish apparel, the actress did not look a day over 25. It was really hard to believe that Shilpa Shetty’s age is crossing over 50, with her ageless charm and enviable figure. Shilpa’s looks are not just a miracle or a coincidence but rather a deliberate effort. In a 2018 interview with NDTV, Shilpa Shetty revealed how she manages to look so fit. The actress revealed that her fitness routine did not incorporate strict diets or demanding workout routines. Instead, Shilpa focused on things like mindful eating, wholesome food, and everyday rituals.

Shilpa Shetty’s morning routine

In the NDTV interview, the Baazigar actress revealed, “I start my day with a glass and a half of lukewarm water. Then, I have four drops of Noni juice that acts as an energy booster. Finally, I gargle my mouth with a tablespoon of coconut oil. It is an Ayurvedic practice of oil pulling where you swish the oil around your mouth for five and a half minutes…” This revealed that her routine is really simple yet impactful.

Shilpa Shetty makes sure to include ghee in her diet

Shilpa Shetty has talked about not being afraid of fats several times. According to her, the right type of fats are essential for the body’s wellbeing and working. Shilpa explained that switching to coconut milk makes for a great alternative. Talking about adding ghee to her diet, Shilpa said, ““Ghee is a staple with my lunch. Even high-carb fruits like bananas are really good for you. They are so easily available, but most people stay away from them, fearing they’ll make them fat… add a bit of brown rice to your diet. If you can switch to these foods, you will realize that the elasticity in your skin is much better. You have to add foods to your diet that keep you full and at the same time maintain your weight and give you a natural glow.”

Shilpa’s overall food routine

Shilpa explained that she gets her daily dose of fiber through fruits for breakfast. “Throw in some muesli with a few slices of apples, mangoes, and almond milk; it’s my favorite breakfast bowl. I also love eggs for breakfast; they make a complete meal,” she said. For dinner, Shilpa makes sure she eats her meal on time. She said, “Even if I have a social gathering to attend, I eat my dinner before 7.30 pm.”
